QUOTE(soyusa @ Jun 16 2017, 03:09 PM) I just ended my Live chat session with TM to change my Aneka pack to Jumbo Lite Pack. Damn, thought could get free replacement for the HyppTV box since mine is really old and really lags.Accordingly to the TM representative, there will be one time charge RM5 for this change, the monthly fee remain as RM30 per month, since Aneka and Jumbo Lite are same price. He need to create a case for this swap, estimated will be completed within three working days and I shall be informed via SMS. To my surprise, he mentioned that this swap will renew my HyppTV contact to one year, but there will be no extra one year warranty for HyppTV box. Only if I renew Unifi contact, then all my equipment will get extra one year warranty. |

I wouldn't mind them implementing something like 100mbps for the first 100GB or so and then reducing to 50mbps after that. Similar to what TIME did back then with their booster packs.

I wonder since I have already gotten the Thank You Surprise so my current plan is RM179 for 50mbps, will I be able to upgrade to 100mbps for RM229?

QUOTE(dannielshazmeer @ Jul 2 2017, 01:12 PM) QUOTE(fruitie @ Jul 2 2017, 02:30 PM) Considering they take 2-3mbps away from its advertised speed and multiply it with the number of subscribers, they will be able to save quite a lot of bandwidth to allow for more new subscribers. |

QUOTE(lukemanz @ Jul 3 2017, 03:19 PM) I think this is not true. On my experience, when I setup limit at my router (30M account, limit 10M). It will never reach 10M..maximum will reach 9.xM. I think same with our internet line. TM already set 30M but 2M-10M will be loss due to wiring, bending, copper issue, wireless issues and other losses issue. So since im getting speedtest 32M right now, perhaps TM may already set the account to be 32M - 35M. Early birds when 30mbps plan was launched got 32mbps, then after a while got capped to 27-28mbps, now back to 32mbps again. Definitely it's how TM is capping. As a customer, I also feel unfair that I did not get 30M before this. But TM is giving me 32M right now should be applauded. What you said will only happen if there's a hardware fault. With so many users experiencing the same thing, definitely it was a capping from TM.
