QUOTE(Robotic @ Oct 27 2017, 07:20 PM)
A pregnant lady (the Iriz's driver) was pronounced dead in this accident.
Survival's space has been reduced to around 55%. There was still a decent possibility of surviving this crash in this Iriz if a few safety measures have been duly adopted:
1. the SEATBELT was properly fastened.
2. the distance between the steering wheel and the driver was "as far away as it is practical"
The deceased, being a woman driver, I have observed some disturbing driving habits. Women drivers have a tendency to sit too close to the steering wheel. In this case, it was a pregnant lady. A question arises as whether she had fastened the seatbelt prior to the collision. Some pregnant ladies have an unfounded health concern regarding the effect of wearing seatbelt during pregnancy.
A note to PROTON SAFETY TEAM: The Iriz's A-pillar requires longer HPF steel reinforcement. Please use Ford Fiesta's configuration for the future major model update. This post has been edited by Robotic: Oct 27 2017, 10:28 PM

This car has continued to maintain a perfect safety record to date.
There is no death recorded in Suprima since it was launched 5 years ago.

QUOTE(Robotic @ Oct 29 2017, 05:25 PM) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « With reference to the above accident...I would like to call out those forumers who said QUOTE "crash test are meaningless because they only test collisions up to 60km/h" and QUOTE "How many stars also no use when you get hit by a lorry." Yes, please continue to sit in your milotin cars, be it a Viva, iswara, wira, Toyota SEG, 90s Sentra etc. etc. and continue to comfort yourself that crash tests are meaningless while barking at other forumers who believe in the progress of automotive safety. [/size] "Pemandu Axia dipercayai hilang kawalan"This seem to be common theme for Axia, I keep seeing this. Driver or car issue? Proton Preve drive cage looks intact. It's set to gain upper hand anyway : HPF + 1300kg mass vs std 800-900kg mass.

I can feel driving axia is just a ticking bomb in your hand. small mistake can cause catastrophic damage to you, family, and other road user.
