Hi,
I am having backache and my spinal doctor recommended to this chiropractic place I find a bit fishy because:
Each treatment cost RM 230++, with a minimum of 12 treatments contract - otherwise it will be RM 270 per treatment. This seems to be much higher than the typical price range based on my brief online research. I am having problem with this because I feel like I am not patient but a customer getting pushed to buy amway/herbal life/facial package...
The receipt is unprofessional (basically the type of receipt anyone can issue, without header, address, etc.). I may have a hard time claiming this. Not sure if it is standard here in Malaysia.
The first treatment I had was actually okay (manual adjustment, opinions on my posture, infra-red treatment), but I had doubt on the quoted price (is my doctor getting 40% commission on this????).
I am actually heading to another clinic for a second opinion, but I thought some of you guys may have relevant experience in this to share. Thanks in advance!
we are very careful about giving opinions on other professions or professionals, but we wouldnt be recommending a chiropractor very often at all, if ever at all. When a back is started to show problems, the first and probably the best thing for you to do as a patient is take up effective personal back-care to prevent further accelerated deterioration. Look up online, youtube is full of good practice for back-careI am having backache and my spinal doctor recommended to this chiropractic place I find a bit fishy because:
