not just disable Google play music, but its not even in the phone now.. Good at least no need hide app all.

In fact, it came with too little bloatware this time I'd say.. example music player and video library is not preinstalled on S8.

But its good that way. I prefer to install myself if I need it and if I don't need it I don't want it to be there, I don't want to have to "disable" the app then go and hide it..

How is it possible they sell 1 piece?

and lifetime warranty, can go back re-apply SP as many times as you like.


if your current SP scrached up, you got 1 more piece in the box as it usually ship in 2pcs/box.

but if 2nd on scratched up or you screw up the installation process you gotta buy a new set right?

people ask you to leave the phone 2 weeks let them check if you want to do replacement or refund right?

so you ownself dont want to surrender the phone, you cant really blame them. and if in the meantime the 2 weeks since date of purchase passes, then you can definitely say goodbye to any chances of doing replacement of refund...

as for me, my success story is i managed to change 4 units of S8, but I did it on the spot (well not my first unit as I went home first, but all within the same day)

no reason to lie as I dont find it an achievement in the first place. If any, its an embarrassment that I have to open up 4 units until I finally get a phone of the expected quality one would expect after paying RM3.3k for it.

So I managed to sell all my pre-order freebies already.

Was close to taking the bait from a few forummers who trying to lowball very hard, but eventually decided to just be patient. Thanks to those who bought from me and didn't try to lowball even agreed to do COD at my location instead of me going to them.

Now to the interesting part, so I bought the phone at 3300, I sold everything for 370. My actual cost of the phone is now RM2930. and I get to keep the extended warranty + free screen crack replacement.

Comparing to the cheapest available deal for the S8 right now which is at 2770, if you include the protection plan + 250 = RM3020

or you can say the protection plan cost me RM2930-RM2770 = RM160 instead of the RP of RM250.

Furthermore, I get to inspect my phone physically and exchange with new units until I was satisfied that there wasn't any red tint issue present or scuffs on the new phone.


All in all I would say I'm pretty satisfied with the outcome of this pre-order deal for the S8.
Oh not to forget the free return trip ride from Grab too.

yes you can claim warranty either at pavillion or pyramid.

So far never encounter any issue.

clear-coat for front back and sides protection and new version of it seems to fit the cases and doesnt lift it up anymore according to reviews.

or

Original Samsung SP if youre using official Samsung cases.

the extra height will make a very noticeable difference, especially if wearing tight fitting pants.

but still manageable I guess, at least for the S8 that is..

then it depends, you have to list out the cases you're interested in getting, then only can see what SP fits it.

or if you get a SP already, then see what cases can fit it..

as for tempered glass, that usually the case with cheap TG. Only those really expensive ones in the range of rm 2xx will work as advertised..
