Samsung released a 5,100 mAh fast-charge battery pack

Two months after the Galaxy S8 duo launch, a new battery pack appeared on Samsung’s website. It costs $59.99, and for that price, you get a 5,100 mAh power cell, supporting Samsung Fast Charge.

and we got it for free laugh.gif

I use ip7+ as my main phone and in fact, I find that my ip7+ is even redder than the S8+ when set at 0 or 1. I left my S8+ set at 1 (+3) and find the slight red tint soothing to the eyes. I prefer warm tint than green or cool tint.

i post video from unbox therapy long time ago dy ma, Samsung S8 red values based on hardware reader is around 68-72 while iphone 7 is around 85-88..

So yeah..

The problem with this red-tint issue is not because of the red-tint itself but because its inconsistent, i.e. it affects top but not the bottom of the screen or vice versa, or it affect just the edges of the screen..

this makes it more noticeable, like a DEFECT. If it was the whole screen being reddish, people wouldnt mind it as much.
See below, red tint so inconsistent, its annoying to look at.

Yeah bro..so S8 red tint is essentially a non issue...just blown out of proportion by members of the public which is sensitive with Samsung after the Note7 fiasco.
*
no, its not a non-issue. it IS an issue.

refer to my post above on why its an issue.

I'd say its due to how the AMOLED sheet is cut or maybe the polarizer sheet is placed inaccurately. A few degrees off and you will see the colour variations. It is the same as when you look at the screen sideways or at an angle say 45 degrees.....when you look at it in different degrees, the colour changes....so if the polarizer and the AMOLED sheet is placed at inconsistent angles, you get this problem.
*
yeap so it is an issue, and you cant blame people for being unhappy because of it.

One doesnt expect to get such problems on their devices especially at that price point that we have to pay for it.

Furthermore, previous generations of phones whether S or Note series didn't have such inconsistencies whether due to manufacturing process or whatever..

But its not to say Samsung kept a closed eye on it. Samsung acknowledged about this issue although trying to cover their ass by saying its not an "issue" and could be "fixed" by software, but at least they kept true to their promise that if the user still couldnt solve it via software updates they could return their devices to get an exchange.

Just my 2 cents on this and speaking from my experience of unboxing four brand new S8.. icon_rolleyes.gif

Samsung Video is actually there on the phone already, only hidden. If you use any file explorer to play some video files then it will be played on Samsung Video.
*
besides using file explorer?

example if i transfer 10 videos to the phone, where can I see it? like gallery for photos..

If you mean below two apps, you need to manually download at Samsung Galaxy Apps.

Music - well done beautiful music player.
Video - a video player that support HDR playback in a single app to view all.

Oh you factory reset. If not wrong you can't get back because it is not fully official support yet in Malaysia for Google Play Music. This is the case in my previous Android phone.

You can get back by searching at internet browser and link back.
*
ahh i see, and yes i did factory reset and now I cant even find it in play store.

BUT its all good! GOOD RIDDANCE I'd say.

Dont plan to use it anyway, was gonna uninstall it or block the app and hide it. Save my time now lol rclxms.gif
