Can't believe Samsung still did 75% resolution of the screen for games! Samsung did this previously as well.

Download Game Tuner and set to maximum quality - 100% screen resolution, now all my games especially those 3D games is run perfectly pretty than before.

Also the 75% of screen resolution didn't improve the gaming performance at all.

Lucky the Game Tuner still there and it work as it suppose to 100% screen resolution.

this morning installed the blue honeycomb from slickwraps.
the blue looks better than previous black that used to install on Pixel/S7edge

spent time to trimmed the clear coat (case version) for top and bottom side.
although not perfect but good enough. at least can last while waiting for rev2 case version clear coat from mobile outfitters.

so now all my cases fit perfectly.
previously only compatible with free samsung clear case, samsung alcantara and carved case.
now ringke fusion, ringke onyx and spigen rugged armor fit perfectly.

some feedback on cases:

1. the alcantara case have the nicest feeling when holding it. buttons tactility very good. only concern perhaps it can get dirty pretty fast. decent protection though. at least when lay down phone on screen side, the case's lips can protect the phone's screen. my favorite.

2. carved is nice but with very poor button (power button) tactility which for me make overall user experience pretty poor. same case when happened for previous Pixel Carved case but for S7edge it was pretty good. decent protection.

3. ringke fusion - solid but slippery (oily hand). pretty good protection. one thing i dont like based on last experience, it can turn yellowish across the time, easy to get scratch at back side and kinda attract lint.

4. samsung free case. slim, slippery and decent.

5. spigen rugged armour and ringke black onyx; both felt solid, enough and good protection. ringke onyx corner side will have bigger lips compared to rugged armor thus need to further trimmed the clear coat. at least for me, preferred the ringke onyx over than spigen rugged armor. main reason, brushed looks and preferred the feeling when holding it. But the ringke tend to attract a little bit more lints compared to spigen

Gear vr 2017 got controller and the usb type c head is replaceable with micro usb head to be used with previous s6 or note 5.sharper? Same pixelated view if u ask me.

So I managed to sell all my pre-order freebies already. 

Was close to taking the bait from a few forummers who trying to lowball very hard, but eventually decided to just be patient. Thanks to those who bought from me and didn't try to lowball even agreed to do COD at my location instead of me going to them.

Now to the interesting part, so I bought the phone at 3300, I sold everything for 370. My actual cost of the phone is now RM2930. and I get to keep the extended warranty + free screen crack replacement.

Comparing to the cheapest available deal for the S8 right now which is at 2770, if you include the protection plan + 250 = RM3020

or you can say the protection plan cost me RM2930-RM2770 = RM160 instead of the RP of RM250.

Furthermore, I get to inspect my phone physically and exchange with new units until I was satisfied that there wasn't any red tint issue present or scuffs on the new phone.
All in all I would say I'm pretty satisfied with the outcome of this pre-order deal for the S8. 
Oh not to forget the free return trip ride from Grab too.

Better just lurk around CC thread and see which card is offering free cash or voucher for new signups. I was already planning to buy a new phone for my wife and rushed to signed for hsbc to get the RM500 lazada voucher. Initially was really going to buy 7+ when they had the RM500 off promo but hold back after reading S8+ spec. In the end, the surprise RM100 cashback from Shopback plus another RM50 cashback for online spending ontop of the voucher made the whole deal so desirable.

Man, i feel like selling my UAG case to get official samsung case instead
