erm nvm , u can finish the Alpo first then change other brand . well i feed my furkid with science plan lamb and rice flavour . but other forumer do recommend blackwood / or eagle pack . hmm so far i feed my lui lui science plan lamb and rice is good , this dog food recommend from my furkid 's breeder.

blackwood can eliminate poo smell. Hehe. I'm currently feeding Innova to my silky. But I'm thinkign of switching to California Natural or Blackwood.

- The best is of course Holistic. If you were to get a dog that is prone to skin problems, one should give California Natural a try. It really does improve the skin and fur. Other holistic types of dogfood are Canidae, NutriEdge, EaglePack Holistic, Innova Holistic... there are more brands but I will just mention those for now. - How to locate a good brand of dogfood? Choose one that says Chicken or Lamb.... not meal but the meat. Dogs can be allergic to beef and beef can attract more ticks.
- If one wants to feed a homecooked diet, you must take into consideration of the amount of meat, rice and vegie. Also, homecooked meals may not contrain minerals that dogs need so you must give vitamin supplement tablets and also Omega oils to keep the dog healthy. Dogs on homecooked meals are also proned to teeth decay so the owner has to clean the teeth after everymeal.

juz now i went 2 supermarket.. thought that i can find a better brand than alpo o pedigree.. but seems 2 b tat there r onli this 2 as i mentioned.. i haf no choice but 2 buy a 500g smallest pack that they haf for a trial 1st.. cz will b visitting vet soon..

Well... always the cheapest dogfood is not the right kind.... you can try to visit some petshops and ask them to show you their stock. Read the ingredients. Make sure no by-products. As long no by-products then you can safely buy for your dog lah. It is hard to recommand a brand like that here coz there are so so many brands.... of course the best are NutriEdge, California natural, Eaglepack, Blackwood, .....

Try and get hold of Nutro. You can locate this brand at Pet Safari at Ikano....

ya honestly is really hard to recommend the best food brand here , like she say there really many brand of dog food here . but of course not encourage to buy those dog food from supermarket . those dog food is cheap , but if ur furkid eat more , will they healthy ?

wow... bought my pup 2 visit the vet.. cost me rm100.. juz for the vaccination.. but i think my pup is too small/young for the vaccination.. (although i'm not sure wat his age is)

i let my pups vaccination just cost me rm 50 only ler.

Rm100? Too much lah if for vaccination... unless he charge you RM60 for consultation coz some vets charge RM20 while some RM60 and some do not charge any.

I stay at Setapak... got this vet at Genting Kelang, very honest and he rarely charges consultation fees... just the vaccination, that's it. We never spend more than RM50 on a single dog there.
