QUOTE(!@#$%^ @ Jun 14 2024, 12:03 AM) u may want to further earn money from bank by utilizing the 20 interest free days Yes, recommend to utilise this feature. It is really easy, the day receive the credit card statement, schedule the payment on the a day before Payment Due Date. It almost takes the same number of clicks as paying immediately. Another way is to ask for Standing Instruction to Saving account to pay the credit card on Due date. But this is more work as I know, most banks require apply and submit forms for this. Just to add, accidentally late payment by a day, is not that bad, might get charge RM10 late charge, and interest for 1 day is around 0.5%(RM5 if owe RM1000). Can call the bank to explain and they might waive it, as for the banks the 1 day interest is nothing for them, they rather retain you in the hope you will borrow more and cannot pay in future. QUOTE(Altrius @ Nov 15 2024, 11:12 PM) Why is the UOB ONE being discussed / recommended more frequently, compared to HLB WISE? With lower annual fee, and better cashback per category, with the same minimum requirement of RM500 spend, why is the HLB WISE not more preferable? No annual fee waiver is a huge turn off. It makes the effective cashback lower.

QUOTE(1mr3tard3d @ Nov 16 2024, 07:25 PM) while i m using UOB One and agree with the benefits but do the math first maybe... RM 60 x 12 - RM 98 - RM 25 = RM 597 RM 597 / RM 6,000 = 9.95% lower but probably still the highest in the market I think you have the 6k wrong, should be 9k.
