If annual income <RM36k, max credit limit is 2x monthly income.
If annual income >RM36k, it is up to the credit card issuers but foreign-owned banks are more generously giving high credit limit. However, you can always request to reduce approved credit limit to your comfortable level.

Thanks for the info smile.gif

I just received a call too and coincidentally I'm in KL this week (I'm usually working from home in Seremban), so she will drop by at my office to meet me. biggrin.gif
I also told her I wanna apply Visa Signature and she said OK.

My card delivery is in Seremban but I think she is in KL, not sure but since she said can come and meet me, why not. rclxms.gif

Yeah, it's genuine. She's coming later, I need it for my dining since MACH has discontinued.
Yes, I have a lot. More than 20 pieces. laugh.gif
I think they need to do it for biometric verification. I applied via online only, you can try too.

Is it something odd? I also got free umbrella and Starbucks card when I applied for AmBank cards in two occasions. laugh.gif
Mostly utilise, I only apply cards which are useful for me. I have both with AF and free AF for life but so far haven't paid any AF.

Anyway, the Affin person came to my office area to take my biometric verification for EPF statement. Result will know in a week time and another officer from CC department will call me. No SST rebate for duo cards but VS has RM 30? Not sure if I heard it correctly. I was rushing for my appointment so only updated about it now. No umbrella for me, maybe because I didn't go to the branch? laugh.gif Regardless, I'm happy with the service.

I don't apply all at once, so just apply whenever I need. I don't think there's any cooling period to apply any card. For cancellation and re-application may require 6 months of cooling period.

i see, cause it might be bad right if apply too many at once seems very desperate haha laugh.gif

Usually if apply using employment (EPF+Payslip) OR self-employment (Sdn. Bhd Co. Share holding above 51%) get higher credit limit.

Ello sifus, if my card application got declined,

1) How long does this record held on CCRIS?

2) Does it automatically cleared off or I need to contact BNM to have the record erased from CCRIS?

3) From your experience, if apply another credit card, the chances of getting it approved will be slim? (Let's say the record of declined application is still on CCRIS)
*
1. Usually after rejected will disappear from CCRIS within 24 - 48 hour.
2. Yes will automatic clear
3. You may want to recheck your Credit Scoring why bank reject, of coz you may try apply other bank once at a time as different bank have different approval rate (internal bank criteria)

Hi guys, heard some bank now wont approve business owner credit card application. Any of you guys have this experience?
*
Business owner have higher risk, if you’re business owner and taking salary with epf then just declare as employee submit payslip with epf will get higher approval rate

Would like to know if the credit limit reflected for a credit card application in the ccris will be the credit limit offered if the card is approved? The application status is still pending.
Cos when i check my ccris, i see that application record with credit limit although status pending
*
Yes/No, usually when submit application it will give default credit limit and will adjust accordingly to the approve credit limit
