Need some advise..

One month ago (Aprox.) i cleared 2 of my cc and called to cancel it both and still keeping one more cc (CL is not very high). So as usual they are very slow in cancelling the card. I called to CS and they said will proceed with my cancellation and i need wait for a call to verify the cancellation.

The whole process took almost 1 month. Now is the problem, i try to apply for HSBC cc and it got rejected. Hence i tried to get answer why it was rejected but they ask me to walk in or write a letter (LETTER?? dei its 2018, nvm). My income is definitely more than RM30,000 annual requirement. I have no late Hire purchase payment records, nor any PTPTN blacklist.

Hence i suspect that my credit info still updated in BNM hence rejection.
Any advise? i cant afford to have it rejected and need wait 6 months to reapply.

Can i appeal the application?
I mean they need to let me know the rejection reason izzit because of my cards are still reflecting in my credit report
or because of my commitments.

Maybe i can get the bank (the cc that i cancelled) to get me a letter that i already cancel the cards? Will that help?

Need some advise,
Previously i cancelled 2 out of 3 of my cc and then after 1 month i tried to apply for HSBC but rejected. Tried to apply hence rejected again. I went to print my CTOS score and its around 700 score. Asked for reason of reject but not given.

I need to use it by mid to end of March for a oversea trip.

I plan to do the following:-
1. Try other banks
but i read that too many rejects will affect my application also it take too long. Average 2 weeks.

2. Call to extend my CL of my remaining CC.
This card CL is only 5k i got it since 12 years ago when i applied with my 1st job.

What you guys suggest or do both same time?
