Finally registered for e-ccris.
1. After downloading the report, what is the password to open the PDF? I used back the login password but doesn't work. add: found the answer under FAQ 2. Is it possible to retrieve the report for previous years, eg. 2017, 2018? TQ This post has been edited by Human Nature: Oct 3 2019, 02:06 PM |

QUOTE(Edlois @ Oct 7 2019, 11:12 AM) Hi guys i have a dumb question. its my first time using my CC. Most likely your statement is not generated yet, so that's why 0 due.I had activated 2 of my UOB cards in 22 Spe 2019. i had used both cards for spending. The weird thing is when i saw my UOB app the payment amount due is RM 0 for Oct 08. i have some question regarding the CC 1. can i repay the amount early ? will it affect my credit score ? because i paid early and system didn't detect i had spending on my both cards 2. izit true that i need to pay separately with both of my cards ? my mom told me that i cannot only combine the amount of both cards and pay them in one CC account. 3. i dont really understand my bill cycle. i do read the thread summary about the 50 days repayment period. but im still confuse. maybe this is my first month of owning the CC. so the bill cycle is abit confuse to me. 1. Yes you can. As long as you settle statement outstanding amount before due date, you are good. 2. Yes, pay separately according to the statement. 3. If your statement date is 10 Oct, you will have 20 days of interested free period before due. Read post #2, no 6 on the timeline. This post has been edited by Human Nature: Oct 7 2019, 11:18 AM |

QUOTE(iqlas @ Nov 10 2019, 12:50 PM) Just wondering, can i put a customize max credit card charge limit per month? Im new to cc and just looking to get cash back for my normal expense. So im looking for ways to help limit the charge up until the cb cap. You can request to decrease the credit limit permanently. For example pbb quantum cc, i would like set the cap at rm600 because of the 5% cb with rm30 cap. And would there any issue if i made a payment in advance(before statment)? As in it wont affect cb or anything right? Essentially, if i can implement these two thing above, i would like to turn the cc to behave a similiar way as a prepaid card. Advance payment will not affect the cashback. |

QUOTE(car_computer @ Dec 9 2019, 03:42 PM) my card payment due is 31 July. i made full payment on 1 Aug, and HLB charged me late payment penalty and interest. i appealed, but HLB only waived late payment charge, and interest charge cannot be waived. they refused to reverse interest charge although i appealed for second time. Never heard that BNM ordered any grace period. It is banks' discretion.i heard some where in credit card related forum (few years back) that BNM ordered banks to give grace period of few days (after due date) before they can charge interest. is it true ? can someone enlighten me on this before i make an official complaint to BNM ? |

This is to cater for payment due dates falling on weekends or public holidays. |

QUOTE(vondutch @ Dec 19 2019, 02:31 PM) I cancelled my HSBC card 2 months ago and trying to apply for new one from CITI and Standard Chartered since 1 month ago. However both bank rejected my application. My CCRIS is clean and I am above the min salary requirement for both cards. Does anyone face the same issue? Is it because I recently cancelled my card and now i am in the black list? How long did you hold the HSBC card?Citibank and SCB are among the easiest card to get π€ |

QUOTE(beLIEve @ Mar 6 2020, 05:13 PM) Just wanted to post this too. QUOTE HUNDREDS of thousands of credit card details from at least six Southeast Asian countries β including Malaysia and Singapore β have been leaked online, according to India-based cybersecurity start-up Technisanct. The company said this week it had found a series of data breaches involving credit card details issued by top banks in Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia and Thailand. βThe results are alarming as it seems no one is aware that such a huge volume of payment card details β including the CVV and PIN β are available, β said CEO Nandakishore Harikumar, referring to the card verification value and personal identification number. Anyone with access to those details could cause financial losses to the owner of the cards, he added. more: https://www.scmp.com/week-asia/article/3073...ive-data-breach This post has been edited by Human Nature: Mar 6 2020, 06:02 PM |
