If I already have Maybank 2 cards(conventional) with 5k credit limit then i apply for ihkwan mastercard(Islamic), will bank give new credit limit for Islamic card? Or shared credit limit?

Coz i heard credit limit for conventional and Islamic cards have to be saperated.

Newbie want to know about credit cards better.

I applied RHB credit card a week ago and i checked on ccris my application is " pending " on the record.

Today i checked ccris again, the whole application record gone.

What is that mean? unsuccessful ?

want to ask, say my annual salary is more than RM 200K p.a. , what is the maximum credit limit according to BNM requirement that I am entitled to have for any credit card?

Ya, that's what I saw as well but I just wanted to know for salary above 36K p/a, what is the discretion or the yardstick they use. Can't be them giving you RM 1 million credit for no basis.

The issuer surely takes into account many things, including how much credit one already have from other issuers.

1) how did you decide to get a Canada credit card without knowing how to repay them?

2) if it's an old card, it's usually unlikely to be older than 5yrs old. so, why keep it until now, especially you're (back) in Malaysia? and for whatever reasons, then should already have answer for #1, right?

3) since you have casa, have you thought of doing the same like in MY? transfer some $$ to casa and repay the card? again, goes back to #1 above haha

4) let's not talk about Uber and the saved card in there lol ... also goes back to #1

5) last resort. call the bank for assistance.

Good question, remember I asked about using MBB Ikhwan Amex for Uber? I already saved the Amex in Uber but need to receive SMS for verification and I don't wanna turn on roaming. Then I saw there is already a saved card at the app, the last 4 digits is very very similar to my PBBi Visa. So I just charged to that card. Turns out that is my old Canada card which I have forgotten about
