QUOTE(teen08 @ Jan 2 2023, 04:10 PM) Im looking at swapping my justone for RHB shell visa. Any cons I need to know of? SC has to spend on specific category rm133.33 but rhb shell is 'open' so I can spend more on other categories. is it possible like if I reload my TNG app with 2000 and 500 I use to fill up petrol, will I get rm100 cash back? Also I was reading Ikhwan amex cc T&Cs what is the management fee? Do I need to pay for that? There's no annual fee. But I don't think I have come across management fee on my other cards. management is only charged if you do not pay your statement balance in full. this term is applicable to Islamic cards.

Hi, any recommendation for which bank that grants CC to Malaysian working overseas (Singapore) without fuss despite meeting the income requirement?
Preferably cashback card or with good sign-up campaign.

QUOTE(kimi0148 @ Jan 6 2023, 09:57 AM) Good day sifus! Currently have a Simplicity Citibank card with CL 20k (other cc 10k max). But have been dormant, should I cancel it or save for future emergency use? PS: Have other CCs for CB purpose. Will the unused CC have any effect on CCRIS record? No, but remember SST still running. If you value the CL, then keep it or try getting another card or request to increase CL for other card.

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jan 17 2023, 02:15 PM) This is called concierge service which many premier cards offer as well. So far, I still haven't tried it out and plan to use it next time. I don't have Voyage Card but I'm referring to my other premier cards. I never know the extend of the concierge service is till like that. I got super interested because I just queued (ok-lah take number and stayed inside car) overnight for something 2 weeks ago

QUOTE(no6 @ Jan 18 2023, 01:25 PM) any extra charge for concert ticket ? No idea, I never dare to try yet. On whether it is legal or not, I am not certain too. All this while I thought the concierge will have certain corporate privilege to get the ticket or reservation done. Without having to queue themselves This post has been edited by Human Nature: Jan 18 2023, 02:47 PM

QUOTE(d3ck @ Jan 31 2023, 05:58 PM) Hi. Not sure if this a correct place to ask but I'll ask anyway Last week when walking a mall there's a Citi booth offering TnG credit for welcome gift. I sign up for most lowest card there. I think the requirements are RM2000/m salary. I'm signing up just for the sake of the welcome gift. Unfortunately today I just read the email it got rejected. I just want to know what might be the reason. My salary is RM6000/m (not include commissions etc. Sometimes that months no commission, received basic salary only) which meet the minimum requirements. Never had a credit card before tho. I do have 100k ASB & 40k PTPTN, both are auto debit. Never missed any payment. Just curious what you guys think might be the reason for that. Never had a card before <---- clean record Maybe appeal and ask for low credit limit

QUOTE(d3ck @ Jan 31 2023, 06:51 PM) I applied for the lowest one that time. Maybe need to start having a credit card. But how to get a card before having credit card. Haha I could say my debt salary ratio is healthy for now. No car/motorcycle loan, no house loan, in fact no other loan except for ASB (RM443) & PTPTN (RM130). Low credit limit is not the same as the card with lowest income requirement. Credit limits means how much credit the bank gives you based on your income. Let's say RM20k for one with RM5k income. But since you are too clean, no CC no other loans before. So they cant checkk your payment history andmay feel it is risky to give you RM20k credit limit. So instead, request for just RM5k or RM10k, just to get it approved. Contact the agent at the booth to assist you to appeal or just appeal directly. QUOTE(LostAndFound @ Feb 14 2023, 11:08 AM) Any banks which have no age limit for primary cardholders? My relative (65+) has hundreds of thousands in one of our local banks, but they still don't want to issue a CC to her due to their 65 age limit. Maybe see if she is PB of any banks and get her to seek assistance from RM

QUOTE(watabakiu @ Feb 18 2023, 11:12 PM) Applied for StanChart card earlier this month, but got rejected. A bit surprised, as I am well over the minimum requirement - only problem is that I already have two other CC with two different banks. Could this be the reason? Or that my two other CC already have high credit limit? Even so, I am a good paymaster for both cards (insofar as paying the more than the minimum). Cardholders can only hold credit cards from a maximum of two issuers only if earning RM36,000 per annum and less. If more, then not an issue. eCCRIS all ok?

QUOTE(watabakiu @ Feb 19 2023, 12:53 AM) Combined is about 1/3 of my annual income. Dont think so. If you feel too high CL is the culprit, you may request to reduce it if not using it anyway. Else appeal SCB asking for a small CL.
