Hello, before I'm having no problem using my Maybank debit card on grab after my recent ride, it tell me I've an overdue payment (which means card not working). Therefore, I tried using my kwik card, it denied my payment also. So I was wondering what happened, Any solutions? I've activated my MSOS long time ago.

Call maybank, ask them to activate online transactions

You may activate your debit card for e-commerce/online transaction as below:
SMS : ONCNP (space) 12-Digit IC Number to 66628.

(Example: ONCNP 851255555623)

[The activation will be processed within 2 working days and the activation is free of charge]

In addition, we would like to highlight to you that, with this activation, customer is liable for any transaction performed via online merchants or via phone orders. However, Maybank will continue to perform investigations, for any disputes/ unauthorised transaction reported by customer.

The customer has an option to either revert to us or call in Maybank customer service at 1-300-88-6688 anytime to disable this activation. Please do not hesitate to revert to us should you have further queries.

To ensure your purchase successfully done at an online merchant site, kindly ensure below conditions applied to your debit card:

1) For payment online that require MSOS code, the code will be sent to customer via SMS during the payment.

2) Ensure purchase amount not exceeding your purchase limit. You may change your purchase limit via M2U at Card Management > Debit Card Purchase Limit.

3) Ensure card is activated for international usage if transaction made at international/overseas website. Activation can be done via M2U at Card Management > Overseas ATM Facility. You have an option to activate on selected tenure or maximum up to 1 year. The activation is immediately effective.

4) Usage at gaming, forex and gambling website is not allowed for security reasons.

5) There will be a daily downtime, maintenance of the Visa / Master platform from 3:00am - 6:00am. Please avoid using card during the said hours to avoid inconvenience.

Kindly ensure all the above conditions are updated for your debit card. Thank you.
