why you need sales rep to layan you like king.. just go and drop money laugh.gif

i didnt say the need to layan me like a king. just layan me like a normal customer enough, answer our question, assist in getting the dream bikes, we just want them to take us seriously without the need to flount the wealth.

At least serious in helping us etc just like what their website socmed says "come talk to us bla bla". bukan suruh jilat pon dry.gif

just the average joe going in with a dream in mind and the means to achieve it. lain la they have the bike on a shelf and we just pick and check out like ikea. doh.gif

Just went last Sat to the PJ HD, their staff got served my frens and I.. haha tried starting a few bikes to hear the boom pipes, got assisted by SA also... no Pan Am thou..
*
sweet biggrin.gif . yup not many models , and from what i saw and talked to the SA that layan me, they have those high end, and some last year ones that they are trying hard to push.

Offered me the display/test unit of the Street Bob. My personal fav the Softail Standard 2024 tho was in limbo if it will be available or not. Which made me wonder how does their business work. I thought we go, we order what we like, they place order to the mother ship and bam after few weeks/months its at the dealership. I really do hope HD does send the 2024 models to malaysia. Its kind of a bummer when its their own current line up and they dont sell it here for whatever the reason may be. Most of the assembly is done not far from our shores either, just Thailand and stones throw away from us.

So couldn't get any definitive answer on what i want, tho he did say wait 2/3 months and if its in the SA will contact me.

Usually is put in a deposit means you commit, they will order in. Won't really bring in so many, cuz not easy to sell especially these are high value bikes. Malaysia market too small, I understand their POV when comes to ordering.

If you really want and confirm, put it in, wait and pray... just make sure the SA really do their job of updating you haha..
*
I did go in with the intention of paying something but since they also didnt mention it to me, maybe my questions/intentions weren't straight forward kot. On the question of number of bikes, whatever model they bring pon banyak x habis. Those over the top ones, dunno maybe org kaya in malaysia dah kurang kot haha, then they run discounts left and right.

But the ones that peeks the interest of select niche fans x dak pulak, Pan Am like you mentioned or Softail in my case. Actually i was hoping they told me something in the line you can register interest by paying depo ke etc etc but he didnt and he just mentioned wait and will update haha.

My next plan would be probably try the kl one and see what they say and if i need to make some amount as deposit payments so that they can order, and the other plan is to bug the SA every 2 weeks asking if it will be ordered /or its coming biggrin.gif biggrin.gif .

Ah Loke and gov finally announcing the B2 to B full conversion. Hopefully those moving on to the big bikes ride safely, secara berhemah and with million fold of patience on our roads.

Lets not be part of the 4k+ statistics which we hope to reduce.

no need B full pon dah already there. now its 4k+ death out of 6K+ stats did you guys know is on the bike and lead by the small bikes, it probably may go up or down who knows.

Malaysia's 5th death cause is road accidents. But still we malaysians tak takut since its all figures unless it happened to us or someone close to us. I personally pon involved in one, syukur still have everything still intact and kickin about lulz. Hence the least we can do aside from riding safe, responsibly and ethically is pray that those moving up to the big bikes do the same.

By the way all the data said is from JPJ (had the opportunity to attend one of their road safety talks recently)

The height could be challenging for bigger bikes. But there is a way. Flat footing isn't a necessity, as with getting both feet on the ground. Which is why the more seat time you have on a bike, the more confidence you will have when taking the test.

Bike weight is not something you should worry about too much. Most big bikes and maxi scooters will weigh in around 170 to 200kg. There are bikes with low seat heights like cruiser type such as the Honda rebel 500 should you choose to get your feet wet...they are popular with lady riders starting out on a big bike.
*
and some other cruiser may go beyond 200kg. biggrin.gif

None the less, you can easily flat foot em since they have low seating and can still be adjusted.

Any recommended one near PJ area or not? Damansara area? Apart from Metro Driving Academy....

Im a newbie too, got my B full back in june, "wheelied" the z850 at metro and fell in my 3rd class, failed 2x on the wretched titi, but dont give up and overcome that fear and you will be fine.

Now waiting for my bike to continue riding. So far pusing2 with my dad's kapchai but it does help. Albeit big bikes have the things you odd to familiarize and learn but small bikes do help if you have them on hand. Muscle memory/balancing etc those kind of stuff.

Post everything, just enjoy practice and practice to get your mileage as experience are the best teachers.

As for driving schools, if you're like me with the possibility of failing multiple times, i would recommend metro since they do have that "repeat until pass". Cost wise they are more expensive compared to others.

OK i dropped my name in Metro driving academy.
But you guys are making it sound like it's damn difficult lah! I thought the school is supposed to teach me most things.
*
Common misconception. School teach how to pass, ie the JPJ test. At the same time they will pass down some tips and etc on how to handle the bikes on the track for the JPJ test.

Now the real open road riding skills or proper way to ride etc etc you need to find Safe riding skill courses. Im not sur about other manufacturers but HD have em at every month interval that owner can sign up to sharpen their skill. Instructor is a lady, very skilled one too.

As on the difficult part, it may seem like that but not saying it will be easy either. I think more of knowing what to do how to do vs not knowing and hence the fear and panic.

I like to equate it to what was it like when we were born, do we know how to stand and walk? No. But as we learn and master the body we got walking now is easy and becomes natural. Same way riding. Once you know how, the body the muscle memory will help you. Experiencing it physically is the best teacher compared to reading, watching video etc.

The cars bonet had been roughed up with their "paws and claws" art work so really dont want to see the bke get it on the tank and seats.

The pee, the shit can make peace, the calar ayoooo....sakit mata woo. Buy car / bike they go up nap and sleep like kings and queens, when they want to scale the heights they use full force claw like people scaling rock peaks.

Thanks for the suggestion btw. Not to jinx my self, but so far the slitherin kind is rare at my housing area, not to say none but there were incidents at my neighbors la. sweat.gif sweat.gif , probably because the very same feline kot, aside from Angsa cats do have an affinity to go up against em.

A Honda city in rather good condition. Just one more year of installments to pay, if I sell it now probably I get back a healthy chunk of money that I can reinvest.

I don't need the money, but I'm pretty much watching my money depreciate if I don't sell it since I can no longer utilize it much. It's gotten to the point where I don't even renew the roadtax and insurance anymore, and is perpetually delaying my service visits since I find it hard to reason about when I hardly drive the car.
*
ahh the mistake. even not using or old car, renew the insurance and road tax. else you need to bring puspakom before they allow you to change name(for selling) and renew the insurance/road tax.

Same goes to bikes. I think anything left without valid roadtax/insurance beyond 2 years requires puspakom visit.

on the fact of selling it, if you already have alternate means(be it another car, tax, grab etc) and comfortable that without your car you wont face any difficulties etc then sell it.

Big Hoo Haa across CFMOTO forums today GLOBALLY. Seems suddenly CFMOTO decided to hide most of the higher tier connectivity features under a monthly subscription paywall. This includes the digital key, cast navigation, location, ride tracking, alerts and future OTA updates.

Caught all of us by surprise as this was not announced previously.
Would be interesting how this will pan out.

No official response by CFMOTO Malaysia as of yet.
I would hold off buying a CFMOTO bike for the meantime if connectivity features is something you are looking into. Will have to see how this sticks.
Worst affected are those that purchased the CFMOTO Tbox (the brains behind the features) separately and now have to pay to use the features.

probably "Americanizing" their bisnes kot ala Microsoft dll.
