QUOTE(dinbk90 @ Jun 3 2022, 01:14 AM) Because yamaha design perfectly caters to Malaysian taste in kapcai segment. Just ask around and many will say that ysuku mmg lawa, smart & desirable to many people regardless of age. Y15 and Y16 sure look cool as fuck, but I wouldn't pay for form over functionality, and most people really shouldn't. 15k for an underbone when you can literally get a R15 or MT15 for less money. Those who own B Full license can extend budget ckit buy a CMC rebadged Chinese bike for 18kThis post has been edited by iambryan1234: Jun 3 2022, 02:34 AM |

QUOTE(megahertz @ Jun 3 2022, 10:52 AM) well, diff people diff taste, diff mind set, diff need. Still doesnt change the fact that no one should have to pay upwards of 10k for a sportcub unless you're telling me someone managed to ram a 200-250cccc engine in while still maintaining stabilityand some see the brand 1st etc, and look down for chinese brand etc. this is same for all even for cars. for me, i would just want to find that good in reliability, spare parts, model that suit me., and all 15years of my biking life, all bike that i owned is just yamaha, all 3 of them. its not that i choose the brand, but that the model that suit me when i bought it. like nmax, that time no other scooter that suit my requirement and within my budget. then R25, is just i bought from my friends, even those my initial plan is to get dominar 400 for same price. and some people would pay more even just kapchai, due to high spec and 1 bike for all, fetch kids to school, go to work, bring some items from nearby shop, go ride on weekend but low on budget, cant buy all bike for their main purpose. R15 or MT15 is not suitable to fetch kids at school or bring some item from shop/kedai runcit. some even bought y15/y16 for go to work but use big bike on weekends. so you definitely cant ask people to follow ur requirement/mindset because each of us have diff need/budget etc. you should change ur " better buy" mindset. |

QUOTE(nojalanpulang @ Jun 27 2022, 07:58 AM) What usually happens after you ter-hit someone's side mirror? I'm a newbie and I ter-hit a car's side mirror with my side mirror in a jam. The side mirror I hit was still in tact. I didn't stop because there were other riders following behind me so didn't want to cause an obstacle for them. Don' t yeet your bike when lane splitting. If dick won't fit, don't force it in. lowpro liked this post

How do you guys transport a secondary bike helmet for passengers when moving around without it banging on the bike chassis or the insides of your top box and breaking?

Are GIVI boxes supposed to be loose as on the front end? Mine keeps slipping off the retaining bracket leaving the locking mechanism to bear all the burden of keeping it on the bike |

QUOTE(ajaibman @ Dec 15 2022, 12:31 AM) It does come with several features which are unheard of in the 250cc scooter class in Malaysia. sure jjuan? they're not gonna pull another bait and switch generic brake stunt like they did with the new benelli 4pot?1. Upside-down fork 2. JJuan 4 piston caliper single disc 3. Spoke wheel for the higher-end version 4. TPMS 5. Spotlights integrated 6. Piaggio designed engine which can put (Malossi/Polini/Jcosta) and chances to bore up to 330cc same as Piaggio Beverly engine. And how much is the XMAX price again? But beware of the CKD quality by MForce.. rule of thumb, buy their bike.. prepare to DIY. |

QUOTE(jaycee1 @ Mar 11 2023, 12:58 PM) dominar 400. If you do come across a more heavy duty rack available locally, do share. Appreciate. It's going to be a matter of time before I break this one. Look up 69 Street Custom iirc they're selling their own heavy duty racks or you can also custom one by appointment if you like. |

WTA: How often should I change out the oil on a small capacity cub bike? Recently bought a Kriss 120 and overhauled it, mechanic said to change out the oil every 1k-1.5k, at most up to 2k which sounds like very little mileage to me, and I see 150cc people generally changing out at the standard 3-5k
My only experience with riding a cub long term was on a two stroke so generally the 4T could be neglected for half a year or a year and still wouldn't have any issues This post has been edited by iambryan1234: Jan 9 2024, 12:50 PM |

QUOTE(ajaibman @ Jan 9 2024, 01:37 PM) If air-cooled and no oil filter, yes change around 1.5 to 2k km Air cooled and carbed, yes.If want to prolong the oil change interval, use the Diesel engine oil, like Those Shell Rimula or Petronas Urania with the same viscosity level. But it does have an oil filter unlike the current gen Kriss. Does that change things? Or do I maintain at 1.5-2k? |
