Because yamaha design perfectly caters to Malaysian taste in kapcai segment. Just ask around and many will say that ysuku mmg lawa, smart & desirable to many people regardless of age.

well, diff people diff taste, diff mind set, diff need.
and some see the brand 1st etc, and look down for chinese brand etc. this is same for all even for cars.

for me, i would just want to find that good in reliability, spare parts, model that suit me., and all 15years of my biking life, all bike that i owned is just yamaha, all 3 of them. its not that i choose the brand, but that the model that suit me when i bought it. like nmax, that time no other scooter that suit my requirement and within my budget. then R25, is just i bought from my friends, even those my initial plan is to get dominar 400 for same price.

and some people would pay more even just kapchai, due to high spec and 1 bike for all, fetch kids to school, go to work, bring some items from nearby shop, go ride on weekend but low on budget, cant buy all bike for their main purpose. R15 or MT15 is not suitable to fetch kids at school or bring some item from shop/kedai runcit. some even bought y15/y16 for go to work but use big bike on weekends.
so you definitely cant ask people to follow ur requirement/mindset because each of us have diff need/budget etc.

What usually happens after you ter-hit someone's side mirror? I'm a newbie and I ter-hit a car's side mirror with my side mirror in a jam. The side mirror I hit was still in tact. I didn't stop because there were other riders following behind me so didn't want to cause an obstacle for them.

i read that one should lubricate the chain every 600 - 1000 km, do you guys perform chain cleaning everytime you lub the chain ? can share your thoughts?

its depends personal need just incase you are suddenly lose control or accident those protection accessory its save or reduce body injury.

Go straight to the policemen.....no point following cars coz the chances theyll check u is extremely high even on big bikes.

im still too afraid to squeeze in between cars to go through the traffic unless the gap is like very big
i kena other motors honk n shout at few times d for stopping behind a car cause too afraid to go through the gap that is almost the same size as my kapcai

If air-cooled and no oil filter, yes change around 1.5 to 2k km

If want to prolong the oil change interval, use the Diesel engine oil, like Those Shell Rimula or Petronas Urania  with the same viscosity level.
