any of you have experience with Michelin Pilot/Road tyres? recently got a pair of Road 6 fitted to my Z250 2022, I am 75kg with bike at 190kg~ ish (incl top box/engine guard).
my question is how much mileage can i expect out of these tyres?

stock dunlop arrowmax gt501. 8000km. still plenty of life the threads, changed because of a vertical cut along the tyres.

Damn, 3 years? I wonder how far is the commute distance you use daily. I also use this bike mainly as a commuter to work (10km~/day) with occasional once a month trip from KL-JB-KL (750km~ total) on the highway. Basically 99% of the time my riding will only involve a straight line. I expect this tyre to square-off before the threads are fully used. Hopefully the hard middle compound used on this tyre lasts.

I do have to say though, Road6s tyre are amazing during the rain compared to the stock Arrowmax GT501. If the R6 is at 100%, the GT501 is at 50~60%. I dont have any other experience with other tyres to compare since this is my first bike. 😊

not exactly in KL but in dengkil, Pusat Latihan Memandu Cemerlang Berhad, got my B full there. registered 14/9/22, jpj 22/11/22. the ER6N provided sucks though, front forks dead(sucks for those uneven road), horn dead, signal indicator dead, but instructors are cool as heck.

what earplugs ypu guys use? disposables, reusables, customs? currently using 3m and they are good for the price, just the consistency of quality sucks on each packed earplugs. sometimes you can roll them and they stay that rolled position for a while which makes entering the ear so easy. but sometimes the roll instantly expands leaving you no time to jam it into the ear.

with difficulty (lots of grunt and elbow grease to remove it from the hex screw)

used or new old stock?

I would honestly get myself the upcoming kawasaki zx25r if new since both (expected to be) priced similarly around 33k at the base model. that inline 4 250cc 16k rpm engine is such a fun weekend bike (in my honest opinion) and at 6th gear, it wont go over 200kmh on the speedo 😊 so you dont have to go into crazy speeds to enjoy that 16k rev limit.

buuuttt that rc390 is nice as it is especially if you can get at used price

z250 2023, half way to jb had to fill my tank. been using ron95 beforehand and just for the heck of it I filled 97. I'm the kinda that constantly cruises at 140kmh and the difference is quite significant in terms of vibration.

ya reduced vibrations. at 140kmh using ron97

or it could be my body physically shaking and counter-vibrate the vibrations since I wasted extra money for such a small return causing a smooth ride along the way

this happened to me the moment i got my license with my first bike being a Z250 of the get-go, I was too tense and held the grip too hard.

after a while learnt to relax my muscles a bit and not grip too hard. then my hands doesn't go numb even with 7 hours of constant ride.

Been trying to search a universal rear splash guard that is aesthetically same or similar to the ones on MT09 V2 but they either look cheap or requires double sided mounting instead one sided. Any recommendations? Plan to install on a Z250 2022
