For a 500cc tourer, TRK502 is the cheapest in the class of tourer I think (not withstanding being manufactured in China). RM32k+ u get the side panners as well. Not a bad deal.

Then another alternative to consider is the Vulcan S650 which is a good bike for easy riding and pack more torgue than Rebel 500. Price wise is almost similar to the Rebel.

No new yet as to whether Boon Siew will be bringing it in or when it will be brought in. The rebel 500 is direct competition to the Vulcan S from Kawasaki.

Rite on. They are losing market share on the younger generation who r going for speed bikes rather than cruisers. The older generation market r getting thinner and thinner. So HD is reinvesting its marketing strategy to attract the gen Y riders imo.

QUOTE(wshazi @ Sep 27 2017, 03:27 PM) This particular model was assembled and released in India before anywhere else. The small issues should be settled prior launching in Malaysia. What do you guys think? If the price is almost similar to CB500, wud rather buy the CB500. Double the cc and 2cylinder Personally, I think the bike is good for town riding. It's light but with high torque. Maybe suitable as a starter bike? Price wise is on the higher side. Near to Honda 500cc line like cb500, rebel 500. However, it comes with full tft display, abs, sleeper clutch. Will it be a good buy? |
