the chinese bike already had EFI version several years ago

anyway, this whole regal raptor series, the chinese company copied Honda CMX250 from the 80's engine.

it is inline twin with 360 degree crank/firing,

so it doesnt sound like a roti man or the usual 180 deg firing - ie r25 er6n etc.

the thing about using carb is, u can tweak it to idle low and it will KINDA sound like a harley ( not quite ) and not the usual lotiman sound

Triumph used to sound like this before they change to 270deg firing

the daytona cafe looks like it has more rake, and the usual street bike.

cmc is offering test ride @ its HQ ( appointment needed? )

u can compare it with the bucanner which is from another chinese company.

thing is even it is efi, it still wont be reliable cos it depends on the quality of the parts,/ assembly

efi means more chances things can go wrong, cos u hv more sensor, wiring, connectors, ecu, etc..

where as carb is very basic n straight forward stuff.

u got china efi bike? those h y k is of cos better quality.... n less chances of problem...

brake caliper theft, yes very rampant! latest they show even polis bike oso kena rembat the caliper.. if brembo.. .. if u buy for weekend ride.. then no nid worry tht much cos u dont leave ur bike unattended.. also wont rack up alot of milage for next desmo service..

yes sym is frm taiwan. no issues, very good.

ori... ok.. if you can deal with the pomen, n if u can handle it, tht is buying your own parts, first pomen hv to tell u which part you need. if u r able to get that done.
i can giv you a contact tht will get u genuine susuki parts frm hq in prai. if the parts is still available. n u will get to know the real price.

or u can get 3rd party parts. go to nks in sentul, or honlid in oug.

or u can get used orimotor parts frm fb group..

jpj said will work with kastam starting this year. only approved helmet will be allowed in.

Last time, non approved helmet, u can go jpj to apply for 'personal collection' . But now, not sure, cos they din address this issue.

If your helmet ship tru poslaju/ems, very high chance will kena kastam inspect.
