Hi,

Does anyone know what type of thumbdrive the PS2 can read with uLaunch? I need to copy some files frmo the thumbdrive to my memory card.I have few thumbdrives and some of them work and some don't... I want to get another thumbdrive but I am afraid my PS2 can't recognise it.

almost all usb drive can be used. Dont get that fancy-fancy usbdrive that have encryption etc...

to be safe, buy old model of any usb drive.

Even my 10G hdd put into external 2.5" enclosure works like a charm.

y mine cannot... i used a apacer pendrive 1g.. how does it detect?... last time i try using the old kingstone 512mb still cannot lol... still wondering how does it work on ps2 lol... and another thing i'm using the slim ps2 dont kno wat chipset it used.....

This is one of the reason that slim PS2 sucks. The fat one has better compatibility.

thats y...i use kingston 2GB cannot detect...i use 4 different portable drive cannot...i use sandisk 1GB can....

hm... have anyone try using pendrive at slim ps2?... i'm just wondering wanna know wat type of pendrive compatible for it... or maybe it got to do wit my mod cip... maybe a cheap mod chip.. lol...

Maybe trying to use external USBD.IRX for uLaunchELF would work. But since there are lots of uLE update i assume the pendrive compatibility is higher. I still use old v3.87 and i use external usb driver for my uLE.

anyone tried using Kingston datatraveller 1 1GB... anyway u guys using action replay 2 transfer files 2 thumbdrives???

erm...i use the thumbdrive to transfer elf files to mc.... ....as for kingston data traveller 1 1GB, i assume tat since kingston data traveller 2 1gb works, urs should work as well? .best is to try urself....

the thing is wat s/w is used to transfer files from MC to thumb drives??? action replay max 10 or wat other s/w???

even uLE itself can transfer all your needs from MC to usb drive.
for me basically i use codebreaker.. already bored with ar max, too sloww loading time.. and when u access the MC manager, u have to restart console to go for cheat manager.. argghh... no more all that with codebreaker, work fast with me..
