And then a DX10 game comes along and brings the 8800 down to its knees with 20FPS performance... what a vicious cycle...

yes lah, sooner or later will have to migrate to pcie for u lot of gamers. wonder how long I can last--I'm not a gamer-only play for fun-- but 1 day will buy game that cannot run well on agp then !!@@!@#@!

The 8600 card design is abit weird...hope some brand like XfX will make their card more creative and nice like 8800..
