(SCAM ALERT) Kena my first scam after dealing online for more than ten years.

Bought Nier for RM120 from this guy (in Carousell) but never got a response from him after the transfer. Can only blame myself for not checking it properly. Just realize another guy commented on the same product today, indicating that he kena scammed as well.

Posting this scam for reminder purpose:
Name: Khairul Azwan
Tel: +60 16-691 2326
Bank Account: 7618093050 (CIMB)
*
if it's too cheap to be true, ask for COD. else, double triple check the bank account name and see whether it popped up in scammed cases or not.

Nier is in demand, but don't have a lot of ppl selling. Mostly 2nd hand price still around RM170-180

Thanks. In Steam I can put a game in wishlist and I will be notified when it is on sale. Does PlayStation have something similar?
*
Got wishlist, not sure if there's notification.

Usually PS4 exclusive titles from Sony-affiliated studios get a lot cheaper over time (to RM100-120/game) because Sony wants to push console sales.

2nd hand physical discs of popular titles like Nioh, Persona 5 can also get cheaper because of a lot copies in circulation

Use LAN better than Wi-Fi.

Sometimes there just too much interference from other nearby Wi-Fi, especially in condo

But my 4k tv doesnt have hdr sad.gif

5GHz AC WiFi and better framerate alone is worth the extra few hundred Ringgit for PS4 Pro, IMHO.

Usually where to get cheaper latest games like day 1 release? I usually just buy from impulse or heavyarm so i just curious anywhere else can get cheaper games?
*
usually standard price for day-1 release and might give you RM10 voucher only.

some do run trade-in program for pre-order. for e.g. trade in FIFA 17 to pre-order FIFA 18 at lower price

Hi sifu, any recommendations for 4k hdr TV for ps4 pro?
My budget max is 3000. I have shortlisted few brands within my budget. There are LG, Sony, Samsung. Any users can give me some reviews to these brands?
*
Don't kid yourself. Those RM3000 4K TV doesn't have True HDR.

It just marketing term to sell more TVs

Well I only have that budget.

As long as you are aware that's it's not true HDR, that's fine. Too many times i see ppl got 'conned' by the HDR terms used by TV manufacturers.

Hey guys, currently in survey on getting a PS4, just wondering how much of 60FPS content i can get compared between the pro and non pro?
*
Most Pro-Enhanced games should able to run 1080p 60ps except for very demanding open-world games.

I have come to a conclusion in buying the PS4 Pro, but to maximize my experience i will need a 4K TV that supports HDR, understand that there are these so-called low end HDR or high end HDR, is the difference very notice-able?

Would be appreciate if anyone can recommend me entry level 4K TV that supports HDR, 43" LED will do, going on the brand's website doesn't give much information, went to some TV shop but they are not aware which budget range of TV i should look for that supports HDR on PS4, thanks!
*
At 43", it's not that much noticeable between 1080p and 4K unless u sit closer to the TV. 'True HDR' (aka Certified HDR Premium) requires wide color gamut and at least 1000 nits peak brightness. In my not-so-technical opinion, the brightness (or more accurately high contrast ratio) is what made the image 'pop'

Some budget 4K TV with limited HDR u can consider

Samsung MU6300 (or get the cheaper 2016 model KU6300)
Sony X7000e

Hi, anyone here can try to share their experience with remote play?
I'm thinking of buying a PS4 and use remote play to play games but I'm wondering if 10mbps upload is enough for remote play. My side of download speed is fast enough, just worried about the upload speed. Please enlighten me, thx !!!
*
Not reliable unless u just remote-playing at different spot in your house using ur wife/LAN network.

Sorry I mean ethernet...
By using ethernet, there will still be obvious lag? I'm not playing some action title, so input lag may not be a huge issue to me.
*
??? if your PS4 and laptop are connected to the same router, then remote play shouldn't have huge lag because all the traffic are transfer locally (unless ur network is congested with many users)

If you mean u connect PS4 via Ethernet, and try to play from laptop using another LAN - this 1 hard to say. Experience varies but that's because I tried to remote play with 4G LTE instead of a fast LAN. My PS4 is connected to 50/10mbps Unifi.

in order to get the max out of PS4 Pro, you need high-end 4K TV that can output 'true HDR' i.e. >1000 nits brightness and wide color gamut

Those mid-range 4K TVs that advertise HDR actually can't get so bright. Nevertheless, it will still looks better if you are upgrading from older TV models

Finally, bought my PS4 Pro. Cost me NZ$548, comes with Gran Turismo, Destiny 2 and a Universal Remote Control... Reckon it's a good deal. X'mas present is here!!!

So now, can I buy a MY PS+ subscription and use for online gaming? Much cheaper if compared to NZ which is $90/year....

If yes, how to do it?
*
create a MY PSN account. can subscribe straight from PS Store if you have a Malaysia credit card. Otherwise, you can buy from online sellers which should have various payment options

usually buy from PS Store is the best because they will have discount from time to time.
