Vacant position extended by developer., S&P Agreement VP extended

Gooday all,
I would like seek for advice regarding Vacant Position. As per agreement signed that the given VP period is due. But lawyer firm developer representative said it was some faulty made in agreement signed which the actual VP period is another 6 mths more and request to make ammendment onto agreement which signed 2 years ago. Hence, i need some advice whether they are allowed to do so? Thx. Regards, William |
