I would not vote opposition as they are going in the opposite direction. They want to remove GST and increase back corporate tax. They also want to put back massive blanket subsidies - all of which is against what the rest of the world is doing.

These measures are pro-tax evasion, anti-business, also pro-illicit capital outflows, pro-smuggling. pro-wastage and anti-environment.

During the first incident in Oct 2014, both also denied the numerous photos were fake. They called for a press conference where they were supposed to make a police report but then cancelled the PC.

Then neither made any reports on the two "gyrating MP" videos a couple of months ago.

The police can do digital image forensics to determine if these are fakes or not.

But if the police discovers they are real then they will be guilty of making a false police report which is punishable under under Section 182 of the Penal Code and shall be punished (upon conviction) by a prison term not exceeding six months or to a fine of up to RM2,000 or both.

Alternatively, they can make separate Statutory Declarations that the photos are not them. But the penalty under Section 193 of the Penal Code for making a false statutory declaration is even heavier and carries the penalty of not more than seven years' imprisonment or fine or both.

Anyway, if the "forgers" are so good, they would be focusing on false pics of more prominent leaders such as Kit Siang, Guan Eng or Muhyiddin instead of second and third liners such as Zairil or Dyana.

The public, especially the DAP supporters, should encourage both of them to make a police report and show us the police report they made.

Alternatively, they can make Statutory declarations but it is likely that people lodge a police report to challenge their SDs, which could lead to heavier penalties.

If they are capable of lying like this where there are already numerous exposes and convincing photo and video evidence, then they are capable of lying about pretty much everything.

No one wants a Member of Parliament who buta-buta lies thru their teeth.

Muslim voters would certainly not approve as the behaviour of the couple in the photos goes against their religion.

Women voters won't approve of a cheating husband or a girl who goes after a married man with kids.

So, they must clear the air - lest they bring more shame to DAP.
