eh... tat bad eh? different ppl different taste then

69, ps3 done poorly or not, not my problem, tat one sony problem, @ least im still fine with my PS3, not till the extend i would like to find a buyer for it, and complain the heck out of it

Maybe you are just so easy to be please. The only games worth playing on the PS3 now is Resistance, Motorstorm, and Oblivion. Others are just so so only. And I can't believe so many in this forum actually play shit games like Genji and still says it good game. rclxub.gif That pretty says a lot about the current group of PS3 owners.

BTW, I am still playing my resistance and i think its so so only. Nothing new just another FPS and I think the 1st Halo was much better when I play it 5 years ago although the graphics is better in Resistance.

Motorstorm is great but a little lack in option to keep me playing for long.

well, lightning.please share us your expectations with ps3. really love to know them smile.gif

I love the Playstation brand as it offer me some of the best gaming experience especially the PS2.

The PS2 has unique games like Ico, Shadow of the collosus, Ratchet & Clank, SSX, God od War and many more. Much of PS2's success depends on exclusive games such as Final Fantasy ,MGS, Devil May Cry, Tekken, GTA, but they have lose all those exclusive titles to XBOX360. In the last generation XBOX is simply having remake of PS2 games, but it seems like things have turn around this generation. Almost every games on the PS3 was release on the 360 many months ago and what is worst is that PS3 version turn out worst off as compare to the 360 version with Oblivion as the only exception. So what actually when wrong here? PS3 too hard to program for...PS3 still have a lot of untap power...I personally don't give a damn. If PS3 cannot deliver on the games that means it will fail no matter how powerful it is.

Don't get me wrong that I'm trying to bash the PS3 here. Remember I bought the PS3 instead of the XBOX360. I just feel that the PS3 is not a great gaming machine till now and anyone serious about playing game should look at 360 because the 360 have more titles and better games too. Don't you agree?

yea, im more simple minded, easily contended, this makes life much more easier, or maybe im a guy, less complain, more work

to u is shit, but to some is gold, u cant expect everybody to think like u 69, and to make it worse, ur statement on "tat pretty says alot abt the current group of ps3 owners " is a little tooo general

Average score from 51 reviews of Genji on the Internet is 5.7
Genji Review

I can't see anyone who could see gold in genji...gotta be noob gamer(apologize for being rude), but the fact is any serious gamer will not even try titles like that.

1. all the titles above except SSX were only avaliable to PS2 in its 3rd or fourth waves of games, not after 6 months after it was launched.

You were right here, but the scenerio were different back then.  PS2 came out almost 1 year ahead of XBOX so it already has the upper hand in games with XBOX playing catch-up.  Its the reverse now

2. Tekken is still PS3 exclusive.mgs4 is still ps3's best friend. FF is still hanging out with ps3.
i had an xbox, so i would have to say no on that. xbox only shared some sports and platform games, a bit of driving here and there with ps2. xbox was a heaven for shooters due to its PC like specs. PS3's version worst? Actually u cant blame the console there, i think u r talking about FEAR.its the developers' fault. if u r given a knife to finish off someone, with some skills, you can actually do it. but if u r given even a shotgun, if you dont know what u r shooting at, it fails.so its up to the developers, ps3 and 360 are equally powerful. the only thing that seperates them is the size of the media.

Fear is not the only game that looks better on the 360.  NBA Homecourt, NFS, Pirates, Fight Night and many more all seems to suffer on the PS3.  All developers fault...or hardware fault?  Only time will tell.

simple question, when did you bought your ps2?

I'm bought my PS2 right after US launch.  I'm one of the very first PS2 owners.  Have been thru 2 mod chip modifications.  Just retired my PS2 a few months ago as it won't work anymore.

we all have our different views, as well as the fact that we are consumers that want the most for our purchase, but a smart consumer? now thats a different story.
*
The most out of the your purchase? I think 360 and Wii owners are getting the most out of their purchase.

eh? i tot u bought samsung?

The salesman at Courts told me it was in stock but after I made my payment, they told me it would only arrive 3 days later. I agree to pick it up then, but then I met a friend who has a friend that operates a service center for both samsung and toshiba. He advised not to go for samsung because it has lots of problem while the toshiba is almost trouble free. I did go to the service center and there really are a lot of samsung but none toshiba going in for service.

So I went back to Courts and get my refund and bought the Regza instead.

Not sure how to check whether your LCD TV support it or not. Full RGB increases the range of colours in PS3 playback, making both games and movies have a much wider range of colour.

Before this black colour on my LCD TV were gray-like, the blacks weren't really black. When I set to Full RGB, blacks look blacker than ever and I can see some details which may have been missing before.

If Full RGB is set when using a TV that supports RGB full range (only over HDMI), the picture quality of the game or video will improved, increasing the colour spectrum from 16 to 235, to 0 to 255.

Some comparison pics:

That is a big difference. Will try it tonight.

Yep, afterall they can't give me the goods I wanted.

Anyway, I'm happy with the 32" Regza for now. My plan is to get the 42" or probably the 50" in 1 -2 years time when the price came down further and I will use the 32" in my bedroom.

It depends on your TV really. As for mine (Samsung R8), the black looks better with Full.

Here's the link for further information from Sony. http://manuals.playstation.net/document/en...bfullrange.html

Not much information there too. smile.gif

I try on my Toshiba Regza last night. In Full mode , the whole screen is darker and that cover up a lot of details in the shadow area. I don't think the black looks better...its just the whole screen is darker. I still prefer the Limited as the overall picture looks better and brighter with more details in shadow area with the blacks still looking great. I will stick with limited mode.
