 Vegetarianism, Vege only, health how?

So recently a friend of mine decided to convert to vegetarianism. Quite curious about it, sudden change.
It is actually healthy to be a vege? If it is good and healthy, why the world still consuming so much meat. lol

Lets forget about all the other types of vegetarianism, like only-egg, etc.. Pure vege sources only. No blood..

How many of you all are pure veges? How long already, no symptoms?

Hello, I am a vegetarian for 2 years, my doctor forbade me to eat meat dry.gif because of my health and before I had some difficulty to adapt to it but at the moment I feel more in good shape nod.gif

hi hervehelmet, what type of vegetarian diet are you following, with dairy products/without, with egg/without?

do you cook yourself or get it outside? no problems until now? no nutrient deficiencies?

a lot people are vegetarian since the day they are born .
You dont need meat to survive. FYI

I am curious to know as to where the vegans got their source of protein and fat? Especially the ones going on full vegan (sorry for the lack of a better term), i.e those who don't even eat eggs..

Plenty of sources..

Protein: lentils, beans, nuts, quinoa, spinach, green veggies, soy , tempeh, tofu, grains, sprouted grain bread,

Fat- avocado, coconut oil,olive oil, flaxseed, dark chocolate, edamame, chia seeds, cashers, tofu, peanut butter , macadamia, brazil nuts, pecans, pine nuts
