If planned to drive by motorbike (hopefully can avoid jam). Which location is  better?

In general, Tuas jam far better than Woodlands. I used to go through Woodlands and for me it's a big no no. Average 1 hour + traffic jam during peak hours. Total ride time average 2 hours including travel time from my office. Tuas around 15-45 mins jam depending on what day of the week.

The only reason people go through woodlands is two things:

1. Stay near JB/Pasir Gudang/Tampoi.
2. Safer for motorcyclists since bridge is short. Tuas bridge too long and windy since exposed to sea. Very risky for lightweight bikes.

I also ride bike daily into SG and workplace not too far from Tuas. So i bought a house at Melia (now Aspira Lakehome) in Gerbang Nusajaya. Will complete next year and will be the closest home area to Tuas customs after highway exit is complete (gonna take just ~3 mins to reach Tuas).

Added bonus is HSR nearby. People say it's cancelled, but it's not actually. I've met the developers at UEM and they say the HSR project is being shelved until next year so that they can find ways to reduce the cost (just like what happened with ECRL. First cancelled, then revive with less cost). biggrin.gif
