Hi,

I just wanna ask, my supplier sent refund money from her cimb bank to maybank using IBG normal transfer on 8th April Saturday 1:03am. She sent me the sc of the transaction it says "accepted for processing" but I still haven't receive it until today. When I ask her to check the transaction from her account, the status is Pending. Does anyone know why? And what should I do?

There's no processing performed today.
You'll get your money on Monday before noon.

Actually you should have received it on 10th Apr.
Ask her to complain to CIMB asap to resolve this.

Won't be that long.
The time has been drastically shortened after directive from BNM.

Yes it. Unless the amount is very big or the account is lack of money.
I always perform normal IBG from CIMB to Maybank. Both is my own account.

Instant transfer only cost 50 cents.
I don't see any reason why TS's partner don't just pay 50 cents for immediate transfer

Actually not worth to pay more for it as the normal transfer is promised to have fund available at the recipient account by end of the way on weekdays.

She's cheating you.

Could be some problem with the account itself.
But refund should have been initiated if the transaction is failed.

You should have received the money on 10 April latest by 11am. Pls ask your supplier to check with CIMB and perhaps you can also check with Maybank too whether any indication of incoming funds.

For IBG transfer, the recipient either receives the fund on the same business day or the next business day depending on when the sender do the transfer.

Based on my experience last time, I used the standard GIRO to service my property loan.
I asked them what's taking them so long and they told me by 3 business days.
