I have no problem using Amex card at Aeon, Parkson, Isetan, Giant, Guardian, Watsons, Caring, 11 street, and so on. If the merchant doesn't accept Amex, then l just use Visa or Mastercard.

For me, Amex is the priority card to use.

next time before buying anything ask cashier if they accept amex. if not then say i'll come back when you accept amex. tq and bye bye

then slowly the retailer realize more people wan use amex and get amex as their cc vendor

Basically it's whether they want to enable the terminal to accept Amex or not only....

If got demand, maybe they'll consider.

But most places I go to still accept Amex.

I think MBB made a big mistake of taking off the 5% weekend CB previously. The big pools of Amex users decided not to use the Amex card n subsequently merchants also stop accepting d card. All its effort of building up biz for Amex just gone down d drain. Hope MBB learns the lesson n retains this benefit.
