Wow, i never ever believe that, i apply online for the MBB2 Platinum yesterday night and just this noon received my plat. No call from bank to my office or to me. Their service damn efficient.

You can use FD pledging CC, but it locks your money in FD , In my case, im surprise they processed my card within a day to my door.
i think maybe you can start deposits certain amount of cash as prove of income while allocate some savings into their e-fd , i have few e-fd with mbb.

Existing principal M2Gold , i use m2u apply online method yesterday 8pm, then around 1 pm i received my card
It consider new application as i can still use both gold and plat card unless i wish to terminate it..

you are right, but maybe the officer see good card standing and have some e-fd then fast approval.
So far i really enjoy Maybank services , fast and efficient, my previous gold card took 1 hour only at 1U card centre

Min income 60k as stated, but they need your income slip,6 months bank statement to prove u are entitle.

i still hold both gold/plat card and both still active, the CS told me that its up to me if i want to maintain or cancel the gold card.
but i think its better to cancel it to give space for other card from different bank ? the ccris report will show all the 4 cards

Just went back frm Bank Negara to print out the ccris report. No wonder why aeon rejected me . Probably because high risk debt ratio since the report show there is over 6k outstanding for mbb2gold card which i actually pay it in full after its updated. Thinking to write appeal letter for it but dont know how to write a proper one. Anyone can share ?

from what i understand now is. basically maybank cut off at end of every month, then due date to pay is before 20th every month.
From the ccris report, show it updated every 31/month, thats mean mbb update to the bank negara before my actual bill last month around 6k came out.

Maximum 2 months of your salary if your salary below 3k. If above, bank will decide to give more or not. i got mine ard x4.

M2 Plat visa/master have 2.25% and amex 2.5% for oversea fee. Actually is that really worth to use CC oversea instead of cash ? also the low conversion rate?

In malaysia, Yes i swipe it whenever i see the logo AMEX if no merchant fee ( for the sake of rebate and TP)
In oversea, so far i use it as backup in case run out of cash or for online hotel booking only.
