Seem like Maybank is smart playing the click bait to pay income tax with credit card. RM500 x 200 winners if you pay with Amex. I almost wanna pay but the 0.8% is pain in the ass.

QUOTE(wym6977 @ May 1 2017, 12:16 AM) Cash back is on anything swiped by AMEX but I think no treatpoint for government bodies.. Oh... hahahaha... Maybe I should have swipe after all... too long never use AMEX until forgot everything about it. Still using M2C due to 10% discount on Lazada only.

QUOTE(DarReNz @ May 31 2017, 06:20 AM) you aren't spending anything on weekends for 5% cash back ? This is what I hate most. Weekends crowds, looking for parking, traffic jam and worse of all, no plastic bag.

QUOTE(ClarenceT @ Jul 24 2017, 07:45 AM) Lazada - Wednesday not gone. RM15 off if >RM200, but almost for everything. Just create a new account and leave it idle. Lazada will sent you RM15 off RM100 almost every week.

QUOTE(lilsunflower @ Jul 23 2017, 11:36 PM) I find Amex very useful for flight bookings and hotels, because almost all airlines / 5* hotels accept Amex, and you can benefit from the 5% weekend cashback and 5x Treatpoints (without TP cap). Using other cards generally yield only 6% or 5% CB (typically capped at RM50 per month i.e. RM1,000 max expenditure, which won't cover holiday costs), so Amex is fantastic if you travel a few times a year since you can time your ticket purchases (for online bookings) to be made on weekends. Used to do that quite often for my boss but no more. Previously I used to book tickets for him and his clients around RM25K++ yearly. Now almost gone... maybe rare occasion. Cancel first la... later apply back after a year and see get what gift.

QUOTE(SzeMeng76 @ Jul 24 2017, 01:09 PM) I think I saw some case that cancel and can't reapply back, keep rejected. Why not keep it since it's free AF? Why bother if they reject? So many choice out there.
