P1i/w960i has only wifi 802.11b supported. so when do you surf net using your phone connected to your aztech wifi coverage (802.11g) at home, how it is?

So it means W960i/P1i does not support most of the wifi coverage outside my house since starbucks/office/school/etc using 802.11g

QUOTE(waja2000 @ Oct 18 2007, 08:59 PM) correct G is backword compatible with WLAN B, but problem is the wireless AP/Router must set Wireless mode to MIX mode (B + G),to allow Wlan B device connect to it, that is limitation on P1i, if location provide WIFI access but only set Wireless in G mode only that P1i will not able to connect to it. you get the point. my aztech either support only 802.11g or 802.11b, no mix mode. and ofc, my wireless must be switched to 802.11g since i have other notebooks whom needing it....so P1i/w960i can't browse liao... |
