the worksmanship is nothing to shout about the neck is rather fat n the its edges are rather sharp sound wise the body is made of alder i think and i havent seen a set neck model on them yet so far i've only seen the copies being set bolt-on necks ur better off with an sx lp copy which has a set neck bout rm800 in woh fatt but i think u can get it cheaper if u get it from sujesh |

QUOTE(sean392 @ Mar 14 2007, 12:00 PM) tested craftmen lp copies b4 I've actually tested the craftsman lp i want already and so far it's not too bad lar, with nice warm tones. i don't know much about the workmanship though. the body is made out of maple (or so i've been told). the worksmanship is nothing to shout about the neck is rather fat n the its edges are rather sharp sound wise the body is made of alder i think and i havent seen a set neck model on them yet so far i've only seen the copies being set bolt-on necks ur better off with an sx lp copy which has a set neck bout rm800 in woh fatt but i think u can get it cheaper if u get it from sujesh Maybe i should ask to try out an SX lp as well. who on earth is sujesh btw? |

i used craftsman before for a very long time before it was stolen. i now own an ibanez guitar but still miss my craftsman. i use the sg copy and the sound is 'fat' and 'warm'; just like how i wanted. for its cheapness, you got what you paid for. go for it!
