Hi guys, I am interested in getting one NS for myself. Wonder if there will be any Holiday or Christmas bundle coming that you guys know of? Or I should just go ahead and grab one now because it is unlikely the Switch will come with such bundle?

Anyone here letting go of their Switch? PM me too smile.gif

Mario Odyssey bundle is suppose to be the holiday bundle.
*
OIC, cheapest I found from local retailers are RM2149 for that bundle and comes with extra USF II game.

There's also another bundle that has a normal Switch (Grey or Neon controller) + MK8 Deluxe and Fate Extella for the same price RM2149.

Wonder which version is more worth? unsure.gif

The one's that you want to play the game more, obviously.
Local store still doing this bundle crap... when they should just sell the system without any games bundled with it.
*
Yeah well. I don't find any local shops that sells console only so far, so no choice. Preferring local sets.

On the Joy-Cons, any particular colour is more popular for the members here?

Grey, Neon or the Mario Red colours?

Some seller actually sell the Neons at higher price than the Greys. doh.gif

HI yupio, how do you know the unit is US set ? Previously did called to their shop and ask, they said is Asia set under maxsoft warranty. You can even send it back to maxsoft  malaysia to claim.
*
Messaged them and ask if it’s Asia set. They kept quiet and say they will help with warranty. Then I saw from their FB, some says it’s US set.

GH yea....
Anyways, I got mine from Heavy Arm.

Console set with Grey controllers
+ 1 Game of your choice
+ 1 Ultimate Street Fighther II game
+ 3 Amibos (which I do not know what to do with it)
+ RM100 Cash Voucher (only able to use RM30 per day)
+ Tempered Glass Screen Protector with free service to apply
All for RM2199

I went for Ori Nintendo Switch Carry case for RM75 but paid RM45 after deducting my RM30 Cash Voucher.

The next day, I went back and got my Monopoly Game for RM159 - RM30 = RM129 after deducting my another RM30 cash voucher.

Still got bal RM40 cash voucher.

Anyone here having Monopoly? Can play online with me smile.gif

Got myself Doom to play on NSW over the weekend. The graphics is inferior to PS4 but for a portable console, I rate is very high already. My only complaint is that gameplay is somewhat difficult. I think Doom is best played using PC (Keyboard + Mouse). Playing with two joystick is very different and somewhat difficult to do a precise aim at the monsters.

hi everyone quick question.... i got family members right now in japan and i wanted them to tumpang to buy Switch

do they have region lock and voltage problem?
*
No region lock and adapter should be universal (100V to 240V)...can just ask your family member to confirm the voltage on the adapter.

but japan is using 110v right?
*
You are right, but the adapter should be universal type which supports from 100V to 240V range...then it works worldwide.

Well, even if it does not work, you can just buy an adapter locally here to use with the Jpn Switch.

sorry to bug u again.... i know adaptor can be widely found my only concern is the voltage too high then the console pecah then i high-lat already
*
Won't bro...the Switch uses USB C compliant port and follows standard USB C voltage requirements...so long your adapter confirm to USB C, you will be fine. Just get compatible USB C adapter.

Also, the Malaysian model Switch comes with universal adaptor (100v to 240v), so it is quite safe to say, it would be the same even if you get from Jpn. Only probable thing is the plug type is different. MY follows UK plug...I cannot really remember Jpn uses which type. Anyhow, its just a small issue, just a travel adapter solves it.

So region is no issue, adapter is small issue...I would worry more on warranty. Getting the unit from Jpn, means no local warranty support here.

it will be the same as how some of the members here bought their set from hk/sg when it first launch lo

Precisely bro.

I read somewhere the Switch are manufactured by 2 contract manufacturers...one in China and another probably Japan. For Malaysia, its made in China...for Japan, maybe Made in Japan.

So Japanese QC should be better thumbup.gif
