hi guys, I wanna ask something about DLC regions and how they work. because I heard somewhere that some DLC cannot work with some region version of the game. for example DLCs bought from JP estore cannot work with US version of the game, is this true?

also, if I get the physical US version of smash bros then get the DLCs from JP estore, will it work? then if I decide to sell off the physical game card, what will happen to the DLC?

If the title id is the same for EU, and NA that means if your game is EU, but you download the dlc from NA eshop, the dlc will work with your EU account. Because yeah they are actually the same version.

Games like xenoblade 2 works. I have the EU version of the game, but the japanese audio pack I download from NA eshop, it works. Have to check if title id is the same or not.
