A bit of a dumb question that has probably been answered, but how come Switch OLED is so much pricier here compared to in other countries?

I checked online it's supposed to be $350, $50 more than the normal Switch, but it seems every shops here is selling it at like RM1800+.

Quick question, the DLCs are region-locked right? If my game is US region, means I have to download the DLCs from the US eShop, right? Which means I would need to get the prepaid card for US eShop, right?

What I observed is that most of the shops here from many regions, I have seen US, AU and AS (which I heard is basically just HK/Taiwan/South Korea). However, I noticed most of the shops here only sell eShop prepaid cards for US region.

This means I should be aiming for US region if I want to get the DLC of the specific game right?

UPDATE: I just realize, is it possible for me to just use my credit/debit card to purchase DLCs from eShop?

Anyone face issue where you can't add credit card info into your account?

In when select "Add Credit Card" info, it takes me to a white screen that and was stuck there for quite some time before exiting with error message "Session Timed Out".

Strangely, I'm facing an issue when I try to add it on my PC too, long loading screen that ends with an error message.
