This is not a new case. Nintendo ban wave has a pattern to it, and they mass ban rather than one individual at a time. Plus people has already been banned for such violation long before the group has been banned. The results are, just individual bans, not as a collective group.

So if you never had anything to do with any of the illegal implication, there is no need to be concern about it. Me and other members here have already warned before anyway, to not buy those reselling accounts.

As long as you have nothing to do with it, there is no reason to panic.

Make sure dont use the account anymore. If can, just reset your console to factory settings and delete all data. Start your console from fresh. As long as all your game from gamecard or NS eshop. You shall be safe.

Bear in mind, they told you ok does not meant you won't get banned.

Safe to say, no one will be banned unless there is another ban wave. The ban wave that happened was only in Malaysia also.. didn't hear reports from elsewhere, when it all went down.

Unless someone report those bad reselling shopee people to Nintendo, there won't be another ban wave as far as I can tell.

The issue last time happened because I heard someone wasn't happy people are paying those illegal sharing shopee seller. So they drop and emailz and a week or two later, it happened. Mostly heard from Animal Crossing group.
