guys. newbies to nintendo world here. just bought 3 switch last week (1 v2 & 2 lite). so far i think I'm already invested too much due to boredom caused by mco+cb. my only question is, how do i check for 56k ohm resistor inside type c cable? i bought several PD cable from ugreen & baseus (30w & 100w one). is this cable safe to be use to charge my switch? my plan is:

xiaomi 18w pd powerbank + 30w baseus/ugreen pc cable >>> to charge switch lite

zmi 65w pd wall charger + 100w baseus/ugreen pd cable >>> for my switch v2 on docking mode

xiaomi pb3pro 45w powerbank + 100w baseus/ugreen cable >>> for my switch v2 while in the go (not docking mode)

can help to advise me is this setup is safe or dangerous? tks so much in advanced smile.gif

Third party docks are notorious for causing bricked switches but so far powerbanks are generally fine. I use my xiaomi 45w pd powerbank + aukey/u green pd cable to charge occasionally. So far no issues yet. But to be on the safe side, i think it's still better to use official charger

U can check out reddit or search for Wulff Den's video on youtube on the issues with third party docks
