Did you build according to your battery? Please read on mooch battery tests and dont cheap out on batteries. You can cheap out on your attys, mods and juices but rule of thumb is never cheap out on batteries if you still wanna keep that thumb.

Now that squonk boxes are getting all the hype scare people with no knowledge or experience with mech's will do something wrong and affect everyone else.

Hi, what is standard procedure when bring vape on flight? disconnect atty ? then for the mod , with built in battery, carry on flight? can consider as powerbank? flying within asean (burma)

each airline has different policies... best to contact them and ask for advice. They can even provide u info about ur destination country's rule on vaping as well

Hand carry and remove the battery from mod. Others are fine.

Traveled with both Air Asia and Malaysia Airlines to Bangkok, Phnom Penh, Taipei, Shanghai, Beijing and Ho Chi Minh. Did not face any issue.

battery cant be removed , is built in.

Just remove the tank and hope they thought it is a power bank.

I remember last time i brought iCare Mini and they thought it is a lighter.

I just put on the back up battery and tell them it is a vaping device. I even demonstrate in front of them

anyway i recently bought something called eleanor irish coffee ... merak infusion ... to me it taste similar to 5pawns black flag fallen. havent taste that in a long while. but this kind of juice cannot vape for long bcos it very jelak

for me vapeboss juice is no go .... all local juices with misleading information

Do take care carrying Vape items through Bangkok or any other Thai locations BTW. There have been a rising number of Vapers LATELY (mostly Omputihs) who has gotten their entire Vape collection confiscated by Thai Customs already.

I mean, if some of you lepas already then it's fine, but do expect crap to hit the fan if it's your turn and they insist on a proper inspection, as the escalating Thai gomen hostility towards Vape is real - and one of the folks here lost a Therion already to Thai Customs IINM.

That said, yeah, if you're heading to a less Vape-hostile location, hand-carry and separate the parts (battery in case, tank dried and saperated form the mod). The later isn't necessarily required though, but it helps to prevent your mod from breaking at the 510 if anything happens... but drying the tank is a tad more important as air pressure differences WILL make your tank leak juice if you insist on carrying it loaded.

And yeah, do check the latest vape-law related news on whatever location you're heading to. Be aware and informed, as "I dunno, I'm not from here" won't save your backside 100% of the time.

Plus, being in the know can sometimes help you to formulate "creative countermeasures" beforehand, just in case.

Like, did you guys know that there exists a 510 light you can mount on a mech mod to turn it into a... well... torchlight?

Sometimes it's not the Mods that the are the problem lol. For example Japan, which allows Vaping but has limits towards nic Juice carry (120ml max per person per entry).

Or Australia, which - last I checked - only allows nic-less Vaping (though Australia being Australia, the situation is a "per-state laws" mess, from a near total ban in Queensland to more lax rules everywhere else).

But y'know, there are always ways and means...

Err how latest is this? Coz as per around August 2017 the allowance is still 120mls MAX of personal use Nic Liquid IINM according to the Kanto Shinetsu Health Bureau, as per below:


Of course anything more than that will run the risk of being treated as "for commercial uses" and might just be confiscated.

Also, if you catch a JP Customs Official in a bad mood they'll probably just take the stuff anyway (or at least make it hard for you) even if it's within the limits given. Because Customs lol...

... despite the fact that Nic isn't even under their jurisdiction... Like us, Nic-related matters are under the JP MOH, with enforcement being subbed to the various regional Health Bereaus under them.

But yeah, care to share sos if you have more recent news? Coz if it's true than I'll prolly need to up my Han Solo techniques for my next flight over in a few weeks. Haven't seen anything pop up on my normal JP news sources, though I can be wrong.

Oh, and it's true that Liquid SOLD in Japan has been bound to the Zero Nic rule for quite a while already, due to the whole "commercial use Nic prohibition" thing... though if you're good with the staff, some JP shops DO have some nic stashed away to mix into your juice with.

Just wanna send my gratitude and regards to all the sifus here.
After vaping for about, I'm not really an addict but it really did helped me stop smoking (even though I still smoke occasionally when needed).
Best thing about that, I can stop vaping any time I want without have the urge for nicotine!

Anyway, I'm trying to get a set of beginner vape for a friend in India as a Christmas gift. Met him at Shanghai and he's in love with vaping after trying it.

Any ideas here? He's not a heavy smoker.
