Idk what happen, as payment concern, all went through hello pay regardless of type of seller

Confirm My Lazada purchase Lazada KUALA Lumpur MY regarded as other retail and only got 0.2% cash rebate.

Gonna be safe than sorry after this with Lazada. 11ST, Uber and grab all ok. Got 5% for all of them.

Still no rebate for Lazada prepaid card. Still waiting for follow up from BNM

They tried to call me but I was working. Anyhow, I won't be happy to entertain their calls. Would prefer email so that it is clear.

Called cimb just now to clarify. Unfortunately they have granted that Lazada rebate as 5 per cent. But now they need to rectify again since I said that I would have been given 15% cash rebate during the promo period for this Lazada prepaid card.

So they will call me back later to rectify. Also recorded the conversation and asked them to send me an email of the conversation. Just received their email.

Cimb called just now regarding Lazada prepaid card. On their end, the will credit the remaining 0.5% of Lazada cash rebate that is still pending for my July purchases.

However as per terms and condition, they will credit the bonus cash rebate RM25 on Aug 25th. This is because the bonus cash rebate will be credited on 25th of the following month after purchases was made.

Let say I have made purchases in Jul, the bonus cash rebate will be credited on 25th of Aug.

Anyone else had the same case as mine?

Sorry I made it wrong last time. For this card, it's 1% cash rebate for Lazada spend and 0.5% for other retail.

So they will credit another 0.5% latest by tomorrow and the remaining bonus cash rebate on 25th Aug.

Or idk if they have updated the page.

After escalating to BNM, they did assign someone with an Assistant Manager position to handle my Lazada prepaid card cash rebate case.

Now the remaining cash rebate has been credited but the bonus cash rebate will be credited perhaps before 25th. I only replied to the email from her personal email only.

For now, I'll just wait for the bonus cash rebate to be credited. However I haven't raised any issue for my Cimb cash rebate credit card yet.

Don't know if I'm gonna have the time to deal with CRU if I wanted to raise issue for my credit card cash rebate.

Did you use your debit card or credit card?
I remember if I use my debit card, it will appear as Shopee Malaysia without any cross border fees.

However,if I use my credit card, there will be cross border fees.

Anyways, it is good news if now shopee charges using Malaysia based gateway and no cross border fees. And hopefully, cash rebate will be granted as well in the future if this move becomes active.

That means it still has cross border fees because the amount posted on the card is more compared to the amount displayed on Shopee.

Cross border fees is around 1% on top of amount displayed in Shopee.

Alright after 2 weeks of waiting, finally they have credited the Lazada Cash rebate adjustment and also credited my Lazada Prepaid Card with the bonus cash rebate.

The Bonus Cash Rebate has somewhat peculiar mechanism:

For my spendings dated before 25 July Statement, the bonus cash rebate will be credited on 25th Aug Statement. So it may have a bit wait there for this cash rebate.

I think in this case the Tnc for the card shown that any Lazada transaction on Lazada.com.my. So the safe side is we use desktop web to make Lazada transactions.

If it appears in card as Lazada KUALA LUMPUR MY, I think that will be fine as be honored as online transaction.

Anyway, we can always dispute again if this happens again this month as Lazada being regarded as retail transaction, if any.

If I buy something today, will it be credited in this month statement or it will be in next month?

Hi, I think my last month PayPal Lazada transaction was okay but I did not went into detail on last month transaction.

I believe it was okay since I have maxed my cash rebate for last month statement.
