Its not exactly comparing apples to apples la...PC and consoles..

You can do much more with a PC other than playing games (even for those who buys gaming rigs), so obviously cost is always higher on that end...

I always believed in separating my machines (not a believer of PDA phones), therefore a simple PC for PC stuff, a console for gaming, a DVD player for movies and etc etc
