Hi guys, I decided to make a poll to see how much support the 360 has from us Malaysians. To be honest...i have been converted. I used to be a hardcore PC gamer, but after playing GOW and seeing what the 360 can do, it is now my primary gaming machine. I know that maintaining a 360 ain't cheap, with all the frequent ROD and the expansive games, so i'm just curious how popular the 360 is with you all and basically what would you do for it Just for fun, let me know what y'all think. Laters

Laters IMO, maintaining to play pc games are even more expensive like graphic cards, ram, cpu bla bla bla

My sentiments exactly...however with xbox 360 you're sort of stuck with the games you bought after you're finished with them....and they are not cheap

Well you're not actually stuck as you're able to enjoy the benefits of playing over Xbox Live. The experience is way different if compare to PC's online gaming

Xbox 360 is the next-gen console mah... and if make comparison... it's way cheaper compare to PC... imagine you can play FNR3 with other players around the world but not in PC...

Upgrading PC cost more compare to 360... that is why PC cost more... furthermore, if talk about games, the online experience is also different. Of course, 360 can't play DOTA or WoW... but 360 have some fun games to play with... and if maintain, I believe PC needs more maintainance compare to 360...
At the long run... 360 is slightly cheaper... but more durable. If always buy every single game is available, of course expensive lar... I rather buy games that are worth the keep and can play again and again...

lets say like tat... 2 year u need to upgrade ur com once... around RM2000... Only for CPU, MOBO, Harddisk, RAM n Graphics Card... but Xbox if rosak you need to replace it with only core unit or newer version... that would make around 3 yr kua...
in terms of games everything is the same, no difference between platforms... still cost aroudn RM100-200... depends la... actually games from any platform can be sell out if you finish it... jus find those ebay or some other website else...
so one bag for xbox but PC you have to take er... i duno how many things la... hehe...

Frequent ROD, if it was frequent, I think all of us would have stopped playing already.

LoL I've given up on PC gaming yonks ago, along with my flight-sims days. It's just no longer cost-effective. Especially once you start to earn your own salary.

Its not exactly comparing apples to apples la...PC and consoles.. You can do much more with a PC other than playing games (even for those who buys gaming rigs), so obviously cost is always higher on that end... I always believed in separating my machines (not a believer of PDA phones), therefore a simple PC for PC stuff, a console for gaming, a DVD player for movies and etc etc

Separate machines for different tasks... but once you integrated all of them.... voila! Hehe.
