s5k3l8 (samsung)
imx258 (sony)
ov13855 (omnivision)

how do we know the phone came with what camera sensor without unboxing the box?

I see so u mean by looking at the batch number on the box, rite?.
OK if I'm targeting to hv the sony sensor, so what is the old batch number for the sony sensor?

bro, i feel pity for u but do not give up yet. hv u tried different versions of waze, probably u may try to install with the older version. do not install the waze thru playstore, just find it on apkmirror n install the apk manually.

or downgrade back the previous miui fw, doesn't matter either dev or stable one.

or u might want to opt for custom rom. there are so many custom roms developed for this phone that u can find it on xda. trust me it's worth to try.

see whether these could solve ur phone's waze gps issue.

If i'm not mistaken, the redmi note 4 & redmi note 4x are both same. only different on SoC whether MTK or SD version. both got different naming scheme based on country or region. that's y got confused. the official redmi note 4 for msia actually known as redmi note 4x SD version. both can use the same rom vice versa. correct me if i'm wrong.
