Just now Seven Mobile having sale at their outlet, bought a unit for RM717 free Mi powerbank, OTG adapter and stylus. Also lucky draw entree. Although can get cheaper from lazada, I prefer the old fashion walk-in purchase for peace of mind. But wow, hopefully won't have the GPS issue that's being mentioned above.

I would say yes. Because....

1) The prices have dropped significantly below the RM799 rrp.
2) Note 5 specs/design isn't that much of an improvement.
3) Note 5 probably gonna be more expensive?
4) Note 4 has been around for some time with so many happy users. (meaning if u buy note 5, u have to be the white mice first)
5) Need to wait at least a month or 2 before Mi Malaysia starts bringing in (judging from previous redmi releases)

How to stop the screen from lighting up whenever there's a new message? Can't seem to find in settings.

Just tested my Seven Mobile set, Waze works well. GPS lock very fast. So not seven mobile problem.

Really can throw away my powerbank. 3 hours of waze and I'm able to end my day at 41%!

Thanks. But it doesn't work for WhatsApp in particular. I don't see any settings within WhatsApp for that.

The only thing that lags is my gallery app. How come?

Pinch zoom, scrolling....all lag

RN4 camera is worse than my old LG G3 (flagship launched around the same time as 1+1 so camera performance should be similar). Just slightly.

Is there split screen feature for MY set? Where is it?

My gps and other signals are alright too. Locks fairly quickly on waze, just a tad slower than my old htc.

I use MIUI 8 also having problem with waze. Usually restart waze then it'll be ok

Previously, reboot phone can only give it a temporary fix

Would be nice if this phone can snap in RAW format, couldve fixed the sky.

Yeah the battery slightly worse after MIUI 9.2.1 and nougat update. Doesnt feel as smooth now also. Even I feel some delay when typing this.

However, i appreciate the new features such as split screen and screen record.

There are even newer updates that claim to fix standby battery drain issues. Havent update yet. Worry that they add more features that potentially slow down the phone even more.
