Nope everything due to Patent issue.. this has been admit by Xiaomi CEO itself.. Hopefully replacement model c/w unlock interband CA after signing cross patent agreement with Nokia..

That why Redmi Note 5 come out very fast..

Oohhh based on SD only haa haa.. actually if you have both on your hand you will found out around 5 physical diff between them..

Redmi Note 4 1st version c/w SoC MTK X20 & Full Metal Body, support wifi ac, only for China Market due to patent issue & still available till today..
Redmi Note 4 2nd version c/w SoC SD625, back Top & Bottom plate is plastic didn't c/w wifi ac..for Global Market.
Redmi Note 4x (SE) Hitsune Miku 3rd version c/w SoC SD625 4GB/64GB only with some goodies..
Redmi Note 4x 4th version c/w SoC SD625 for Official China Market. Using X to differentiate between MTK X20 version in China shore since demand on MTK version very2 low even Xiaomi didn't expected that low.

Some said 4X has more LTE bands than 4 but read at Gizmochina news claim 4X had lesser bands than 4 and at GSMarena also same.. Only Note 4 SD625 is official local set others all AP sets..

For me.. my choice is Note 4 local set cause less hassle.. I dont have time to ding dong here & there.. If you have time to ding dong here & there than you can choose AP set coz much cheaper.. But currently Note 4 local set retail price RM899 regardless what color..

Local set warranty by Era International Network SB a.k.a EIN.. EIN was subsidiaries to PT Erajaya Swasembada TBK, Indonesia which Xiaomi partner in Indonesia and also own Xiaomi Batam factory..

Still can connects but manually.. not like Mi 5, auto connection which priority to lower traffic.. one more I did test 5.0Ghz, RN4 have very short range without blockage.. like seating in bedroom with door closed.. 5.0Ghz not working & need to swift back to 2.4Ghz but Mi5 both bands working without problem..

AC is dual bands.. 2.4Ghz & 5.0Ghz..

It's working coz never try swap charger with Mi5 one.. I tot QC only work with USB Type C only.

Diff IR blaster & mic position.. RN4 Mediatek Vs RN4/4X only..

ROM series number also known edi..start with L Lollipop, M Marshmallow & N Nougat..

What you wait for? MIUI9 still on Nougat

I dont think so coz 4X only for China Market & c/w China ROM.. 4 in Russia/Greece/India also received this ROM..

4X in China also known as GLOBAL VERSION coz it support more Network than 4 Global Edition like My Set. I have seen many of 4X c/w ROM version end with CNDI (China ROM) out of the box, none with Global ROM (MIED), even in you tube also same.. some one here has install Global ROM into his 4X and end up model no has change to 4 instead of 4X.. The original 4X was Hatsune Miku Edition for Japanese Market before it become SD Version for China Market since 4 at that time using MTK. Xiaomi use X to avoid get sued by china people coz Xiaomi get sue before due to silly excuses..

Laggy & hot after after 10 minute usage.. some one explain here before..

Hopefully he read your post.. If I not mistaken he jump ship edi but not sure either HTC11 or OP5.
