As per title, i'm mostly use the monitor for work and gaming balance.
Work: Web Design, PS, Ai, Video Editing, coding, browsing.
Game: CoD, Pro Evo Soccer, Forza Motorsport 6: Apex, etc.
Need you guys advise on which one is fit the bill and value for money
Thanks!

Price is based on
Dell Malaysia site, i believe Lazada/11street can get better price.
OPTION #1 - U2417H: RM 1029Love the design, InfinityEdge thin bezel.
OPTION #2 - S2418H: RM 979Newer series, newer tech? how about HRD vs Ultrasharp?
OPTION #3 - U2917W (Ultrawide): RM 1599Any existing Ultrawide user here? Any comment? Never try Ultrawide before

.
U2417 any time over the other 2.
U2417:
1) Factory calibrated (since you do design, you'll appreciate the price you pay and get a calibrated sRGB display)
2) 16:9 for your video editing
3) all the ports you need (except VGA)
4) highest price to performance ratio
5) the haze might be a turn off due to matte coating for some people but i find the haze treatment is just right. no big deal.
S2418:
1) Glossy, a huge no no (although Dell says anti glare on its website, this is a glossy monitor)
2) non adjustable stand
3) no vesa mount
4) HDR on a monitor with peak brightness of 250cd/m, dont bother.
5) No display port
U2917W
1) ultra wide does not appeal to me

I'll share what i found, not sure if this help~ the reason why it's cheap
Part of it --> the Stands~
and this~ i noticed it yesterday ~ S2418H uses 6Bit+FRC while Ultrasharp uses 8Bits panel
both U2417 and S2418 is 6bit + FRC.
its quite hard to get a true 8bit nowadays, but to be honest, FRC is so good nowadays you can hardly notice huge differences with true 8 bits panel

in UK Dell website it doesn't show that it's anti-glare
but Malaysia Dell website did stated the monitor come with " Anti-glare treatment of the front polarizer (3H)"

You can confirm with with Dell Customer representative = just give them a call or chat with them~

Just talk to the Dell's CS, U2417H and S2418H bothe anti-glare, means non-reflective...
But i guess i will stick to Ultrasharp, because my current 2007WFP served me for so long since 2008
still work well but just start having backlight bleeding, so looking for successor...

Regardless of what they say, its still glossy to my eyes.
