Just curious...
What is the current price of a Nikon D80?
and also what is the common assesories that comes with it?

The Dry Cabinet cost around how much?
If I get an extra battery, a sunlight/UV filter, lens cleaning kit, how much would these cost as well?

Interested but couldn't make the time to stop at a camera shop to ask. Sorry if I sound rude...

nikon D80 body only is around rm3500 if with kit lens is around rm4200
if i'm not wrong.

accessories are just like manual, CD, warrenty card, cable, batt, charger, eye cap....stadard 1 lor.

the dry box i think cost around rm300 to rm1xxx.... no so sure

extra original batt i think cost around rm180 and 3nd party 1 is slightly cheaper..rm120 maybe...
lens cleaning kit...i think rm25... UV filter...i think rm40 or above..it depand on size..not very sure though..

d80 ? hurm.. my friend (nion user) said that this camera just "reborn" from the d50.. using sd card.. low shutter speed .. and so on.. beter do comparison , maybe d70s is better , can save money for acecories also.

hardly reborn of the d50. more like a downgraded ver of d200 and sd card usage. pretty awesome imho

Hoho! And we won't KNOW when it's coming out now won't we? Hope Nikon's not going to grab everyone by the b@lls again. Let me see : Nikon D80x ... maybe 12MP with Multi-CAM1500 and 3" LCD? Add weather seals around a Magnesium Alloy body and Nikon might just call it D300!

It will shake the D80 trust me. The Nikon D40x is currently the CHEAPEST 10MP DSLR in the market.

ac, i dont really like the way nikon's going on at their dslr line up as it only reduces dslr life span but u gotta admit, it's a great marketing strategy.

D40 KIT ( 18-55 ) = RM 2150
D70S KIT ( 18-70 ) = RM 3200
D80 KIT ( 18-135 ) = RM 4200
D80 ( BODY ) = RM 3500
D200 ( BODY ) = RM 5380

or just get a S5 Pro (which is obviously based on the Nikon D200)
