KPKT Report is simply not updated. There is no need for alarm here.
I suggest that if you want to have constant updates, you can join the Whatsapp homebuyer's group instead of speculating here and panicking unnecessarily.
Progress is slow but constant. A reputable main contractor has been engaged since few months back. We have constant photo updates taken by members (including drone footage which was used by the developer in the latest Facebook update), and we are also closely monitoring publicly-available information on multiple Govt. databases (KPKT Idaman, PBT OSC, SSM) and so far, everything is progressing fine, albeit a little slow.
That is why we are not panicking. If they are slow for some reason, it is better to give them time to resolve the issues early when we are paying only 10% interest (stage 2A drawdown) instead of attempting to resolve issues at a later stage when we are paying high interest. If they are indeed late, then you have your rights under the HDA Tribunal to claim LAD, based on 36 months of your SPA signing. But what we all don't want is rushed work at the expense of quality, otherwise your RM 300k becomes RM 0, which is clearly much worse than paying a little more interest at the early stage. Besides, issues are easier to resolve at an early stage before the superstructure is up, compared to when half the building is already complete.
Not sure why there are any concerns about abandonment when it's clear that the site is active and progress is made on a weekly basis. Abandonment usually happens due to low take-up but Ritz is 100% fully sold and has a ready pool of cash awaiting disbursement in the EF panel with the completion of each stage.
If you have any further enquiries, perhaps asking the developer directly could help reassure some of your concerns. From what we can see from the interactions of some of our members with their staff, they are rather open and forthcoming.
well I have alot of friends bough rumawip... and most of their projects early completion or at least decent progress... if im not mistaken.. the first batch SPA for ritz was around 2017 right? so by right 2019 u should at least see more than car park levels arealdy been built... the progress usually very fast after the piling stage... which I can't see the same assured progress in ritz... we can talk about quality bla3 when its really completed later... and FYI... do it slow doesnt mean good quality anyway... at least in Msia context....
anyhow... just out of concern... nothing malicious here... just hope none of the rumawip in KL have abandoned case... reflect very badly on DBKL end too....
