u using windowblinds? overide the default setting, uncheck the "use skin's supplied wallpaper" option

if u using vistaperfection x4 WB theme, remember to change to 48px theme, or else ur start menu will be ugly when u select large icon

depends on ur system specs, and wat kind of applications u use
if ur laptop is juz as stated on ur sig, then u will notice little difference in performance slowdown

hmm, i wonder why the vista screensaver runs so fast on XP, i prefer slower motion liket those in Vista

i dun see any problem

all the links are at front page, and styler is included in vtp

if ur new styler is a trial version, then i guess u wont be able to get legitimate full version unless u purchase it urself

try windowblinds
normal VTP only wont give u all the aero style u want
or even better, revert to winxp and install the mods, save ur resources

with ur system spec as shown in ur sig, barely noticeable
unless u running on ancient rig like mine with 512MB RAM, then u will notice slight performance loss

install TrueTransparency that is bundled together with the pack

and u will nit Styler (Vista Perfection theme) to make the toolbar looks as good as vista too, like the 1 u posted up there

then u have to install WindowBlinds instead

by default winxp start button cannot be circle, however, u can use the VisOrb to make it circle (bundled with VTP) or use WindowBlinds Vista theme, which would give u transparent effect as well as circle start button

there are many factors that cause people to customize winxp rather than getting vista;
compatibility issues, aging hardwares, tight on budget, enthusiasm in desktop modding, just to name few of them
it's the customization that makes the whole thing fun and satisfying, for me at least

i think vista misc pack in page 1 can do that, either that or vista icon pack, i forgot already

depends on how much RAM u have inside ur system, 2GB wud be sufficient (some says 3 or 4GB), but 1GB is a no-no
and u are in the wrong section btw, this is for winxp users modding their winxp to winvista

some said not stable
but i did not face any problem so far

minor performance slowdown if u know which program to install and which not to
if like mine, i did not install all the 3rd party softwares, no visualtip, no sidebar and all, can be said that there is minimal performance loss
i juz use the icons, cursors, sounds and the vista theme (which now i replace with other windowblinds theme)
