Only VBxxxx and VCxxxx cabinet are able to support Unifi Lite in the SUBB area for the time being due to the VDSL DSLAM available inside the cabinet.

VDSL or Fiber?

No idea about VFxxxx and I haven't saw any VFxxxx cabinet yet. Maybe it's the latest one after V, VB and VC type cabinet. If my assumption is true for VFxxxx is the newer version cabinet, it may be VDSL enabled. You may ask TM Live chat or call 100 to check the coverage for VDSL Unifi Lite.

For the time being, only Kelantanese are successfully installed and activate their unifi Lite and it's via VDSL. Other state, still waiting... Perak? Much worse... nothing!
I'm quite shocked when I saw one agent ads in FB, he claimed that Jeli and Gua Musang area are ready for installation. Maybe Tok Pa punya area kot. That's why special treatment given.

Anyway, I salute your optimistic and positivity attitute towards tm here!

Believe me..., even after 2025, streamyx 1mbps will still exist with the monthly price of RM110/month. I don't see any sign of price reduction for 1 and 2 mbps package for the time being. Their strong point for high price of streamyx combo will be FREE CALL TO TM FIXED LINE NATIONWIDE and FREE TM WIFI yada yada yada! I've been complaining about SUBB around my area to MCMC and even after two weeks, they still don't give any feedback to my complaint.

Maybe. Because I don't think TM will upgrade the existing cabinet that has been build before. Like in my place where only new cabinet are installed, it's not one cabinet, but more than 10 if I calculate correctly within the 10KM radius with the VC (VDSL) coding system. The existing V (in front of my taman), F and R, nah mereputlah kau kat situ sampai bila-bila. In TM dictionary, if it ain't broke, don't fix it!

You know, there are two new cabinets with the VC coding that just recently installed in the kampung area at my place (Too new, I think around early April). Yes, it's in the KAMPUNG area! How unfair TM treat their existing 8Mb streamyx 'loyal' subscriber!

If you can't subscribe for rm129 unifi lite, i think it's better to take rm179 one. But if got an option for rm129 one, then grab for it instead of rm179 one. Rm129 for 10mbps download and 5mbps upload, some more you're on fiber which is stable than copper vdsl, i think that's really a good deal. How lucky are you....

Since when streamyx 8mb got 10mb+- download and 1mbps+- upload? Im using 8mb right now and the highest that i can get only 8.5mb for download and 0.56mb for upload. Haihh... i've saw many of your post here quite misleading and only based on your agak-agak information.

I lost my hope already for unifi lite when my father friend who work in the tmpoint said just now, they have no plan to upgrade the cabinet in front of my taman because it can support 8mb already. Instead, they only install the new cabinet on the area where many complaints received, and only 1-2mbps'able before.

My area? They will straightly give fiber unifi, but in the 5 years period due to not considered as low income area. 5 years? I doubt it. 8mb forever....

I don't put any hope for fiber unifi because my area should be fall under SUBB only, which only Unifi Lite will be supported by upgrading the existing DSLAM or installing the new one with the Huawei VDSL2 card.
The cabinet has been scattered all around my place, which I think more than 10 new cabinets has been set up since the last year with the code start with BS VC 5xxx. In fact, the said cabinet available less than 300M from the place where I live now (the opposite taman). How unlucky I am, my place is the pioneer for 8mb in my town, but I can't enjoy the recently launched unifi lite, instead they provide it to the area which can be considered as low cost and many 'kampung' available, Tm said this area before this can't even support 1Mb properly and there are many complaints about quality of service, cable theft etc etc received from the resident within the area of the new cabinets installed. Due to the recent budget announcement, TM straightly give them a new cabinet with VDSL card inside to help them to achieve high speed broadband. He even said I should be grateful because I've enjoyed 8mb for the past 4 years without any major problems (Which is true, my current 8mb served me really well and my line statistics also can be considered excellent). But I still feel they treat their loyal customer like rubbish! I've subscribe for their service for many years, from 512Kbps until 8Mb, but this is what I got! No improvement in the speed (read as UPLOAD) at all.

Can try to do speedtest on local server (eg: telekom malaysia berhad) and via lan connection? It seems that unifi lite vdsl are having quite bad ping. Maybe dsl path is set to interveave. My streamyx 8mb ping are much more lower than that. Usually around 25-30ms only on local server.
